I received my interview notice on June 16. I applied my EAD on March 28 and got approved June 17, I'm still waiting for physical card.

Applied march 4th and had biometrics on April 6th. Still stuck on fingerprint fee accepted with no update including an approvals. Bummer. Anyone filling from detroit?

I applied March 10, got interview date on July 21 in Detroit.

I suppose my own ignorance is coming to bite me, but I really hope this does not delay the process.

Does anyone know if your SSN is given to you on the day, but the paperwork takes 2 weeks to come through? I have heard mixed reviews but now I am stuck over here with no bank account having to use my UK account, no drivers license so I'm stuck in my apartment, and unable to work It is so frustrating and I am certainly going crazy!

ALSO does anyone have any tips for getting a US drivers license? I do not have a UK drivers license as I have not yet learnt how to drive.

I didn't apply SSN too. We supposed to apply two weeks before I-94 expires. Otherwise we have to wait until we get EAD or GC. I'm still waiting for my EAD as well.

How many days ahead was your medical? My fiancé had his medical scheduled and it is for Tuesday the 8th of Dec and interview is that Monday the 14th. Appt at 9am- how will it be enough time to get medical back? They say 7-10 days, but they scheduled it that way. Thanks for any info. Congrats!

Usually 3-4 working days. Depend on how many vaccines will you get cause they won't give all vaccines same time. I did my medical after the interview. It was ready in 2 working days.

That's normal. You don't have to get stressed. I had my interview on Sunday, but statu is still ready cause embassy is waiting for my medical report and original signature affidavit of support. And consular assistant is keep calling me to follow up those two cause she will be on leave for two weeks. She said she could do something for me if my papers are ready before her vacation otherwise I have to wait for her to come back.

Tread lightly, approved means everything seems to be in order. They can't actually tell you if you're truly approve or denied. Anyway typically what they say goes...but not always. Get that medical done and sounds like you're good.

Actually I didn't even know it was my interview. When I contacted by embassy on Thursday, they asked me if I have all the documents. I told them yes, but I haven't submit DS-160 and pay visa fee yet. Also my medical.then she told me submit your DS160 and pay visa fee, bring my documents on Sunday, they will schedule my interview. When I went there to submit, they told to wait, so I waited half an hour, they took my finger print. After consular assistant asked me if I brought evidence of relationship. All I have with me Tickets, boarding pass and 10 photos. Then I waited another half an hour for the interview.

Wow that is lucky, the one I went to stated you have to do medical first before coming for interview or it's a flat denial

But they did. Actually I didn't expect the interview today. I didn't bring any chat or call Logs. All I have with me packet 3 and photos, tickets and boarding pass. During the interview, they asked me if I have done the medical. I told them I scheduled on November 16. Consular told me my visa is approved. Once they receive my medical report and they will issue my visa. Medical result will take 3-4 working days.

How can they approve you when you havn't done the medical? Haven't heard of that before?

What do you mean by "infopass", I am in the same situation, between USCIS and NVC, I called both offices yesterday and didn't get any info. I was just told to send scanned copies to NVC of Noa2 which I recieved on August 6th.

By the way I got my NOA2 on 3rd of August (CSC). So close to yours.

Thank you Knutchen. My fiancé talked to USCIS superviser and asked him to send a email to CSC to find out location of our file. All we can do is waiting. It's really pain in the ###. We got our NOA2 in 18 days, never expected that our file will stuck between USCIS and NVC.

I am sure you will get your update soon.

I just called NVC, they still don't have our file. He told me same thing email to them scanned hard copy of approval of notice. Also he said even speak to USCIS won't help, they will just say file has been forwarded to NVC. I sent last Friday, but i don't know how long I have to wait to get reply. I feel like my case file wrong sent to NRC instead of NVC.

We got our NOA2 on 3rd of August from CSC. Almost 6 weeks no news yet. My fiancé called NVC few times, But they said there is no record of receiving. Then they told him to scan hard copy of approval notice send to nvcresearch@state.gov. He even called USCIS, they insisted that they have forwarded our case file to NVC already. I have seen others got NOA2 after than us, got their case number already. Does anyone experience the same? I need help. I'm so frustrated.
