Hi everyone, my visa was approved to the GLORY of GOD. My fiance and I 've decided that I would come over after her studies so that she will be able to ve full time for me.

I want to be cleared/sure about the time I've decided to travel, it is 10days before my visa expires in which we will also get married the same week upon my arrival. Hope this won't affect or get me denied to gain entry into the US at the POE because my coming to the US is very close to my visa expiry date.

Happy Thanksgiving! I am preparing to send my fiancé documents he would take to the embassy for his interview. My question is if the copies of my taxes-federal income tax returns need to be notarized? One set of instructions says they do and another set says I don't need to send them of I am not self employed ( sending them anyway). I notarized the affidavit of support but how about my previous federal and state taxes?

Thanks dear... The city is actually Takoma park. But I didn't enter Washington DC in the filling of the form. I think I will just submit it that way because it has her address already on the ds160 but only the family section is not accepting it. Thank you.

I asked this question because of what I saw someone posted here on VJ yesterday he said you ve to notify your embassy if you won't be traveling immediately after being issued your visa. I just want to be sure. Thanks!

Hi everyone, I'm going to schedule my interview today.

My fiance and I have decided that I will be going to meet to meet her in the US after our visa is approved by God's Grace. I plan to travel to the US in April/May 2016 because of our studies. Pls I want to ask if this won't be a problem when I eventually want to travel that I have not travelled immediately the visa is issued. Tho my passport is still valid till 2019.
