My husband and I have applied for the R1 visa. Our application was submitted Dec. 1, 2014. They sent us a RFE and on June 5, 2015 we returned their RFE and heard back from them quickly with the date of Aug. 4, 2015 to get a final answer (unless an interview or fingerprinting was required). We have still not heard from them and Aug. 4 is only a few days away. Is it likely that we'll still hear by that date? Will we see an update on our status on the USCIS website or just get a letter?
If we get an approval - what are the next steps? How long till we can actually head to our new home?
