Hi everyone, My fiance and me we just started the process for the K-1 visa, she is in Los Angeles right now, she just sent the first package and got the confirmation with the case number.

I am in Spain right now, Im from Spain. My question is: Can I go to Los Angeles to visit her while this process? If is possible do I need anything special?

Is there a way to do all the process with her there so we dont have to be away in opposite sides of the world for such a long time?

I´m a US citizen, but I´ve been living in Spain for the past two years as a resident with my fiance. I´m moving back home and my fiance will follow me after all our papers are approved, but I´m concerned about our application. Taxes. It´s mandatory to prove that I´ve been paying taxes in the states, but I haven´t been in the states, so there´s no way to prove that. How is my residency here in Spain going to affect our application? Does anyone have any advice or knowledge about this particular situation?
