  1. Document lists are in the links. These are all documents for the UK person. Nothing from the U.S. person except the affidavit of support with required proofs like tax return, employer letter, etc.

ONE MORE QUESTION: Do I need to take proofs for the money my husband has sent me? I mean is it required in the London embassy? NO

Thanks a lot sorry but does he have to send me the tax return and employers letter to the UK? They Need the originals also do they need the originals for the I130 application that I have sent and the documents sent to NVC?

I have the interview letter and it has some of the things that are requested.

  2. Hi i can't remember all of the documents my husband sent to USCIS but the evidence for bona fide relationship we sent some pictures like three pictures. My visa is CR1 and my case is in London I think you will have to send more pictures, airline tickets any other evidence because you need a lot more proofs for India and other countries like pakistan. Affidavit is good it helps. Send anything which you think can help your case. ;)

  3. Hi guys i have my interview next month

Which documents should my husband scan/email or post to me our visa is CR1

This is how much i know so far I need to take all the originals that we have sent to USCIS and NVC.

The interview letter doesn't ask for much only a few things but still want to make sure.

  4. Hi I didn't have mine either and it was required by the NVC coz the embassy needs to see it its a MUST!

You need an affidavit could be mothers, fathers or close relatives who were present at the time of your birth. We only needed one affidavit and it was from my mom

Here's a link for affidavit sample and other information.

    http://www.***removed***/birth-certificate/sample-documents-birth-certficate.html

Just edit it a little bit and put all your information e.g. If you are choosing your mom put her date of birth and date of mom's marriage etc.

Take your mom with you to a notary office notarise the document and send it off. My visa is CR1 (spouse.

Hope it helps if you need further help message me.

  5. May I ask how you were able to obtain an interview date prior to completing your medical? My fiancé will be in London only a short time and we are trying to schedule the medical and the interview the same week but we can't figure out who to contact. We have sent an email to the consulate but have not received a reply and we can't find any contact phone numbers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am sorry I am replying late you can't book or choose interview date for yourself but you can choose the medical date just close to your interview date like I did 6 days before my interview. My visa is CR1 which is a spouse visa and it's different from yours. Sorry :(

  6. I have booked my medical just 6 days before my interview coz the lady said on the phone that they need five days to get the result to the embassy. Thank you all so much and thanks Nich Nick for the extra information! I have got an email from them confirming the date of my medical appointment and it has a questionnaire which I have to fill out to take with me.

  7. Hi my interview date is scheduled in January I need to book my medical I need some help.

how much do I need to pay for the actual medical fees?

(I know I have to pay extra for other vaccine I haven't done)

I don't have any immunisation record or have never done any here in the UK so is it okay if I just go to my medical and they do it there for me?

Will it cause me any trouble?

I know I have to take my police certificate and interview

letter. What else please just help.

Btw I haven't received interview letter yet my husband only got an email with the interview date from the NVC

    Thanks for your help.

  8. My apologies - I though this was for fiancé visa ! so ignore that.. but the London website is pretty good and does tell you the steps you need to go through - probably similar to fiancé visa.

    thanks

If your case has been received by the embassy, I would go ahead and schedule the medical, and keep calling the NVC for the interview date. It took about a week after case complete that we called and were given the date. And another few days before we got the email with the date information in it.

For spousal visa you don't submit a readiness form. They schedule for you, you go to your medical, and then show up on the scheduled date for your interview. :)

Thanks mlh I am going to call them again.
  9. Hi guys my case with NVC was complete a few days ago my case is forwarded to the London embassy they have emailed my husband that they will let us know when an interview has been scheduled for you. How long does the London embassy take to schedule interview appointments?

And when they send me the letter for interview do I go to medical or should I go now??

When is the readiness form done?

  10. Guys I'm applying for a UK police certificate and there's a question which I don't get...

have you ever used or been known by any other names? Yes or no

then it says if you have answered Yes to the question above please provide a list of all your previous names below, includingmaiden/married, names prior to and after change by deed poll, and name at birth if different from the above. Failure to answer this question will delay your application.

    Previous/former names?

So I haven't changed my name to my husbands last name and I have been using it there in America but not here in the UK because it's not on my passport and will be using it after I get my green card etc..

So because it's not my previous name or former name as I'm still married and will be using it after its changed on the passport so should I put it there on the application or not?

    Thanks
