My husband had his reaffirmed interview on June 13. He did not have the updated visa application and the printed off copy so he was given an August 7th (Monday) date and time to come back with that document. We have supplied much evidence of our bonafid marriage and I am wondering if our Monday given for his return is going to be another interview and possibly him be given his approval. Our other 2 interview appointments were held on Tuesdays. I seem to remember that all immigrant visa interviews were done on Tuesdays. Has any one else had this happen with their reaffirmation interview?

Hi my name is Ladean and I am in the long process of my husband's I130 visa. He is in Ghana and I am in the US. He was denied his first interview, and it's been sent back to USCIS as of Feb 1, 2017 we haven't heard anything yet as to what to do next. He wasn't given any reason other then he wasn't deemed eligible to receive his visa and it was sent back to USCIS. USCIS has had our case since Feb 1, 2017 but we haven't heard anything as to what our next step is.

My husband and I were married October 23, 2014. We started filing the petition in January 2015. My husband had two interviews, November 2015 & December 2015 for our I-130 petition. The embassy wanted him to provide more information in December 2015, and I guess it wasn't good enough for them, for whatever insane reason. The petition was put on AP as of April 2016 and was sent back to NVC-USCIS, etc. as of June 2016, We received the NOIR from USCIS in November 2016, sent the response in December 2016. They REAFFIRMED our petition on March 27, 2017. I received the letter in the mail from USCIS on April 1, 2017. When I emailed the Embassy in May 2017, they claimed they did not have it yet. Our reaffirmed petition was received by the Embassy this month, June 2017. We are waiting to hear from the Embassy for his next interview. I pray this explanation helps.
