We were approved on August,3 ... I thought NVC will take two weeks only , but it's almost one month already. I am calling them every day , they said that it can take up to 35 days , but reading through info on this website , i can see that it can take even longer it's crazyyyy

So for you it took almost 50 days just for NVC to get your case ? I hope they'll approve it extremely fast .Good luck!

Thanks everyone for help .... I called to German embassy and told them my story , so they adviced me to marry my husband in USA, get my green card ... and with all that docs (green card, SOFA, passport, marriage certificate .. ) I can apply for a national visa , that will allow me to live in Germany ...

Thank God we dont need that anymore My fiance got an assignment and his next base is in California

hello, i read throuh your story and wanted to know ... what did you do ? because me and my fiance are in the same situation right now ... we already filed for K1 visa , but he is in germany still .. he is planning to take vacation so we can go to states to marry , but after that idk what to do ... he said that after I'll be on his orders (SOFA) i can enter Germany ... But i will not even have a green card yet and as I have kazakhstan citizenship , i need shengen visa to enter Germany ... Please help.
