  1. My wife's Visa has been approved today. The long wait is over. I have drifted away from this forum through the process but this is where all the help started. Thanks everyone for your help.

And for those still waiting, i feel for you and just pray that you get

    through the process soon.

  2. Hi, everyone!

My husband (the petitioner) filed the i-130 Dec 7 then he received the NOA1 hardcopy last week, Dec 18.

Our case was sent to Nebraska Service Center. Yes, NEBRASKA! :(

I've read a lot of delays from Nebraska. i'm getting worried

there were also lucky ones from nebraska service center who got their visa approved within 6 months from filing.

well, let's hope for the best. (L)

Best of luck to everyone of us! :)

  3. hi im LPR, im planning to file for petition for my spouse and children but i dont think my income is enough for the petition. my brother living in NY (us citizen, gaining high income) is willing to sign the affidavit of support. im currently living in CA.

question: is that okay? do you think USCIS will accept it? thank you!

  4. Follow to join for child? Hi, im a LPR gained my immigrant status through my US citizen sister. Now, im planning to file form I-824 notice of action of approved petition, to request USCIS to follow-to-join benefits for my 2 children who left behind from my foreign land.

Now, im having doubt if my other child can still make it, he is unmarried but turning 21 next march2016. If i file the form within this month, is there any change that he can be granted visa? And is CSPA (child status protection act) can help? Is my son eligible for that? Thankyou so much in advance..

  5. Hi! does anyone here knows about the follow-to-join benefits (i 824 )

    facts:

    1. i am LPR now (under F4 category), my sister petition me way back 1990 got approved and came to the US last july 2014.

    2. my daughter goes with me under F43 category. shes now LPR also.

    question:

    1. can i file for follow-to-join benefits with my spouse and minor children? i have already search answers in the internet and it says it is possible. (im not 100% sure tough )

---does anyone file for this kind of petition?

    2. now, i have one more major concern, my other son is already 20 years old and 5 months. can he still be granted visa?

    3. how long the process will it take??

please help! thank you in advance!

  6. hi! i undergone same situation last year. two things i can suggest to you,

step 1 : go to this link https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.doenter your receipt number (you can find it on the receipt were you pay for the $165 immigrant fee)

in that link, you can track the status of your card :) stay updated

if you cant find any receipt number, just get infopass to schedule an appointment to the nearest USCIS OFFICE in there all of your questions will be answered.

GOODLUCK! happy vacation in advance kababayan :joy:

  7. hi, im a LPR in united states and last may2015 i went to my home town (philippines) to finally tie a knot to my long time boyfriend. And we hope to file for the petition as soon as possible.

but apparently, NSO takes months to process marriage certificates, they said that we can get ours, 6-12 months. how annoying isn't? we went to the civil registry office to expedite our license but apparently, we are too late to file for it.

now, question : Can we send a local civil registrar-certified marriage certificate with the petition?

    thanks for the help!!
