i am sorry to hear that, i have heard before that unforunatly Baltimore office is like that and i always hear people complain after they have their interview there, but try not to think about it and don't let it bother you or make you upset. sometimes they want to see you mad.

congrats, we got approved last week and we just recived the welcome letter.

My husband had his interview yesterday. We got there 45 minutes early. We were waiting for our attorney to come and finally she arrived 5 minutes before the scheduled time. A young man called my husband’s name almost 40 minutes late. We all went inside and after introducing himself he started asking the usual questions and then he started going through the file and looking at the evidence we had and all that. He didn’t even read any of the affidavits from friends or anything. He only asked my husband for his parent’s names and then he started with me. I felt like he was interviewing me and not my husband. He wasn’t even looking at him. He was asking me questions that most of them had nothing to do with the interview, about my mom and dad and my life when I was a teenager. He was very nice and polite and he had a very comforting smile on his face. He gave our ID’s and my passport back and he gave us a letter with some dates on it and started explaining the dates and then he stopped and said oh by the way you are approved. Oooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Thank god. After all we had to deal with I couldn’t believe it was finally over at least for 2 years. Then he said. Since you have been married for less than 2 years you get a conditional GC, which is going to come by mail in almost 2 weeks, and then you can apply to remove the condition in 2 years.

My husband had the something, i don't know if that is normal or not but our lawyer didn't say anything about it. we have our interview on Thursday so we will see how it goes.

we filed in April and we have the interview on October. it is not bad at all. i didn't expect it so soon since the lawer told me it should take about 10 months, it is great. congrats.

Well, we are having a similar problem too. They have our correct address but they said that my husband's EAD was retuned to them by post office as undeliverable. We called 2 times and finally we had our infopass on Monday. We went there and there was no record of our phone calls. The lady there send them (the center) an e-mail so they can mail it again but the website still shows the same thing!!!!!. I talked to the mailman and he never took anything back according to him and the post office says the same. I have no idea what to do anymore but to wait again. I hope it works out for you.

My husband's biometric appointment was on April and we still haven't received his EAD. The website was showing that the card was returned by the post office as undeliverable. We contacted the customer service center by phone 2 times. They had the correct address and our name is on the mailbox. They said they were going to mail it again which they never did. We had an infopass appointment today and they had no records of our phone calls. They told us again that they will send it. We have our interview on 10/12 and I don't think he will have a SS# by then in order to have a bank account or anything in his name. Is that going to be a problem? I am just worried sick.

my name is on the lease but his name is listed as an occupant and also i have him as an authorized user on my credit cards. i have no health insurance from work. that is all we have i think.

we got the interview notice(for my husband) in the mail today. we are going to have the interview on 11/12/2006. we applied at the end of March so it was kind of quick. the only problem is my husband does not have his work permit yet so he has no social security and he is not able to work. i don't know if that is going to be a problem or not and since he has no social so he has no bank account or anything in his name. any ideas?

my husband had his biometrics done on July 18 and since then we heard nothing until few days ago that i checked the status online and it said that his work permit was returned to them as un deliverable due to wrong addresss. i called them , they had the correct address and i just didn't understand why. she said we will be contacted within 30 days. i called another time and they said they can only make changes or anything to the case every 30 days so i just have to wait. the problem is that the website still shows the same message. i don't know what to expect now. had anyone experienced the same?

I just received an e-mail this morning saying that my husband's application was approved and he will be getting his EAD card shortly in the mail . we are so happy that finally he can have a job. can you please help me with what we need to do in order to get SS# and drivers licence?

try to have some pictures of you together and also with some friends or family members and also you can ask people who know you to write affidavit. good luck. it is a good thing that you got your interview so quick. my lawyer just told me that it will take me 10-12 months to get the notice.

how long does it usually take to get the EAD card after the biometrics app? my husband had his biometrics done on 04/18. also after we get the EAD can he apply for his drivers licence before he has a ss# or should he wait?

my husband had his biometrics app yesterday in VA. i waited outside for about 40 min. everything went well and he said everyone was so nice. so i guess now the waiting begins and we just have to wait and see what happens next.

my husband has his biometric appointment tomorrow at 9:00. he is fine with it but for some reason i am a little nervous. what happens after the biometrics? should we just sit and wait for a letter from them?
