  1. Thanks everyone. Got my appointment for the twins in less than 48 hours after they got my packet. They received my mail on Thursday morning and got my appointment on Friday afternoon(pi time). The best part was my wife's case was completed at the same day. On to the next stage.

  2. Hraja is right, DydyLo, call and try to speak directly to a supervisor.

We submitted our ds 260 on July 5....on August 6 I called NVC and they put us on supervisor review.

We kept trying to reach a live supervisor since then, and on August 14 my husband got hold of one and got our case completed! Saw 3 N/As on August 15(yesterday)! ....it works!

Try get hold of a supervisor in the coming week.

I wish you all the best.

Called almost every 3 days and tried different times. Ask for a supervisor and always the same blah blah blah days...

Really hoping our case gets approved soon. Good luck to all of us.

  3. Thanks hank. You really are a very helpful and knowledgeable fellow. Pretty much I'm done with everything except sending the packet. I might do that on monday. It sucks though until now my wife's case is still at the nvc and under supervisor review. The case had been stuck there for almost 4 months now.hopefully crba process will be better.

  4. Is the address at the us embassy manila site correct for crba? Cause it seems short/missing. I'll be sending my packet from here.(states). I just want to make sure. The address on the site: 1201 Roxas boulevard, 0930 manila

  5. Called nvc today. The agent that I talked to told me that it takes 30-45 days for the ds 260 to get reviewed be cause of the high volume they are receiving. I politely ask if I could speak to a supervisor. She told me that they would tell me the same thing and they can't really do anything about it and just told me to wait. I still insist of talking to one and she said she'll find one if there's anyone availabe. Put me in hold for a couple of minutes. Went back and told me no one is available and told me that she'll ask a supervisor to call me back. Back in my head. Yeah right. Said thanks and hang up.

  6. When I called and asked for a supervisor... I explained very nicely that I got caught up in the site debacle and if they could help... If they said that they couldn't help than I asked for a supervisor... If they didn't allow me to access one than I would thank them and call back again and try and get another agent and go through the same process until I got my way... Be persistent and very nice

Im going to try tomorrow. Thanks.

  7. The key is to keep calling and try to get a supervisor.... Call first thing in the morning and catch a supervisor before they get too busy... It will move quicker.... It worked for me

Do you just say can I speak to a supervisor? Last time I ask for a supervisor they asked me why and I told them about my case and they just told me that I need to wait for 30 day time frame.

  8. I have called several times including today but never get a clear answer as to why. Today I was told the case was sent to a Supervisor on June 3, 2015 which was the first time I called to enquire why it was past the 30 business day time limit at that point. Apparently nothing else has been done since that day though. So the CSR I spoke with today said he is sending another email to the Supervisor to try to find out what the hold up is...? ~Tanya

Wow. After 30 days they send your case for a supervisor review? Then nothing happened? Hopefully you don't have to wait another 30 days. Hope you get your cc soon. Good luck.
  9. I completed my DS 260 on April 20th & am still waiting for the review to be completed. Last time I called she said the delay was due to the problems with the Computer System but I am confused how this affected my case review since I was able to submit my DS 260 before the "computer problems" happened...?

    whats your scan date?

Yes.. my situation is exactly like yours, see my signature. We sent aos+iv documents, then because of their website issues, our DS260 submission was delayed. We still got checklist for the ds260.. two weeks after we had submitted it.

Our checklist notification said to give NVC 45 days to review. Yes, 45 days. I reckon review time is different for different people.

Today is Day 28 since we responded to the checklist. NVC sucks.

have you tried calling them? What did they say?
  10. It takes them a while to intake and to output mail...even if you send your documents one day it can take up to 2 weeks for then just to open your mail or mark it as received....I had a checklist also but it didn't take 30 days for them to review it like they say it was like 3 weeks before my CC date and it took them like a week to email me a confirmation but I know sooner since I called all the time

Aos and iv documents are already been reviewed. Only the ds 260 left to be reviewed to get a cc. That's what the agent/representative told me.

  11. Hey guys. Called nvc asking about what's the status of my case. The representative told me that my documents had been reviewed since june 25(scan date:June 5). and asked me if i already filled ds260. I said yes(July 5) cause of the technical problems of the site. And told me that it takes 30 days for them to review it. I'm seeing people getting cc with the same timeline as I do.

Oh, I also received a checklist for ds260 a couple of days ago. Why now? If they reviewed my documents last month.

    What am I missing here?

Any body else experiencing the same situation as I do.

This process is really a test of patience. Grrrrr.
