  1. Just some clarification; not all embassies are the same. Some require proof of medical (or proof of medical scheduled) prior to scheduling an interview. Desi, please check with your embassy before attempting to schedule an interview.

Once you have your case number and your invoice number (NVC gives this to you) you may fill out your application online through the CEAC website. Please also read this very carefully as it pertains to India.

Congrats!!! When do you plan to enter?

    POE 10/2 . Thanks

  2. We just got our NVC number today and I checked the ceac website and it says ' at Nvc'

How long does it take nvc to send it embassy ( New Delhi on our case) ?

Can we schedule medicals before sending packet 3 ? All documents for interview are ready..

Do we wait for packet 4 to schedule the interview online ( provided medicals are done a week prior to the interview date) ?

All inputs are appreciated and best wishes for you journey.

Yikes .. Sorry for the typos..

You do not have to wait.

    1. Fill out DS 160 ASAP

    2. Call NVC (603.334.0888) to check case number.

    3. When you have case number, check if the status "Ready", use it to pay visa fee and then schedule Interview + medicals (do not wait P3 if you want to save time)

My fiancee just visa approved yesterday.

  3. you know, i know that she is not doing her best , what she is mentioned does not make any sense, even if it takes 35 days what should i wait another 10 days until i contact you to contact them , the only thing we are with her already we paid them 2000 dollars we cant refund them, and i pray she can help me with my consulate if i have any problem,

if you can please tell me, what can i do on my own to have the assigned number i am the beneficiary, and not to wait the time she is talking about

i would appreciate so much to let me know the steps what should i do and when

    Simple

    1. After you have NOV2, still check USCIS website until they transfer your case to NVC. (one week)

    2. After your case was sent to NVC, wait 1 week and start call this number (should tell them you are K1) 603-334.0888. Call in the morning. They will let you know when your case in NVC system and assigned. Normally, they will have this from 1 or 2 weeks.

  4. ok i need someone advise , for best answer to my lawyer because i am a little bit felt frustrated, this is part of her email to me and my fiancee

Your petition will be forwarded to the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC is a preprocessing center for all cases marked for overseas processing. Your case will also undergo certain security clearance checks while at the NVC. The NVC will mail you a letter once these checks have been completed to notify you that the petition is being forwarded to the U.S. Consulate in Cairo to begin overseas processing. As of late, the NVC has been taking approximately 35 days to complete their processing, but there is still a chance that we may receive notice from them sooner.

If you do not receive a letter from the NVC within the next 45 days please email me so I can follow up with them on status.

what is she saying, how is this possible, i know it is the time 25 but it is less that that in so many cases, plus she only want us to contact her if it reached 45 days!!!!!!!

i need best answer for her, thank God i am in this forum and makes me know more than she i think knows

Lawyer did nothing to help me. I recognized it so I removed my lawyer from my case (sent letter to NVC). We do everything without the lawyer after NOV2 and everything run better. From NOV2 to Interview, it takes only 1 month. If your fiance(fiancee) from VietNam, I can share more information to help, just inbox me.

  5. Hey Guys I had a crazy Idea and I know its crazy, has anyone thought about just refiling their petition and letting it go to CSC? if you refile now the file will go to CSC, once you get the receipt that it went there you can recall your TSC petition? I know this is crazy I was just wondering if this is possible at all.

Do not do that, you will get it in this month, around 8/20 (if you do not have any issue in your case). If you do that, it will take more than a month.

  6. I'm not looking for a trend.. I'm just killing time checking out what numbers before me and after me are being approved with an I129 submission. I'm not on the site and I won't pay for a service when I am at the tail end of getting a NOA2. Most people on here are reporting back what is going on over there anyways.

I am after you about 100 receipt. I hope you have a good news soon. Good luck to All.

This is what I found, share with you. 198 already, not from 0-100 only

On July 21, 2015, we sent your case, Receipt Number SRC1590190198, to the Department of State for visa processing. Please visit our website for general information on Consular Processing. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
