so i call nvc 30 minutes ago, and told them that i send my naturalization certificate via email on july 31st that i wanted to know how long it takes to upgrade my husbands case, the representative said that emails dont have time frame, so i asked her if i send it thru mail would it be easier?..... she said it takes longer...... so she basically told me that it can take MONTHS to upgrade a case from spouse of lpr to spouse of us citizen!!!! REALLY.....??

So back in november i petitioned for my husband thank god it was approved, since april it has been at nvc, well yesterday i finally got done with my naturalization journey, i became a USA citizen..... So when i got back from my oath ceremony, i went to my pc scanned my certificate and send it to asknvc@state.gov and stated if the can please upgraade my husbands case and proceed with the consular process, I wrote my name, his name DOB, case number, case category

i just want to know how long it takes them to upgrade the case to: spouse of a US citizen???
