Holy ######, Visa ISSUED !!!!
I just checked after being away all wknd and there was a status update today ! UNBELIEVABLE, miracles do happen !
the pop up says--
Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. As the officer told you in the interview, if further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved when administrative processing is finished, you will receive notification to collect the passport with the visa from the Loomis branch you selected when you booked your appointment.
Please note: Under the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act, Immigrant Visas for "Diversity Visas" cannot be issued after September 30th of the year in which you were selected to apply for a Diversity Visa. For example, entrants into the Diversity Visa Program in Fall of 2011 were selected for Diversity Visa 2012 Program, and selectees MUST apply and receive their visa prior to September 30, 2012 otherwise they lose eligibility to receive a Diversity Immigrant Visa, regardless of additional administrative processing. Also, some immigrant visas may not be able to be issued if the annual numerical limit for that category has been reached.
I guess this is due to AP while visa is printed?
hopefully Loomis wont take that long.
we are entering week 7, so I guess this makes it 6 weeks out of the 8 "promised"
cant believe this hell is over, they had my passport since end of April, been homeless for 2 months in 4 different apartments, solo parenting our 3yo !
will keep everyone posted of any updates..!

Thanks, I really do hope so. It definitely is sooo much tougher than anything. I am glad some people are getting good news. It's a hope for all of us that are waiting.
Hang in there everyone. I know it's so hard waiting and more waiting not to mention the stress that goes along with it. It certainly is tough being away from the people we love. If anyone has any questions on my process I'm more than happy to share. As well my wife and I also did the Canadian Immigration a couple of years ago. We have good insight on both country's process's.
Thanks
DSH

What email address do you send to inquire about information?
Hi All
In one day my status went from READY as indicated in previous comments to ISSUED as of today.
It seemed to go from Ready to Issued in a few hours. I'm not crossing my fingers just yet....
-
I notice that if I fill out the form, and email my issue from there, they are pretty quick to respond. But when I just email them directly or reply, I get an automated message with 3 business day #######. And respond back in 3-4 business days.
Thanks fellaamazing;
The status changed to Ready today, but I already had my interview. Hope the below does not mean another interview in Montreal???
ReadyYour case is ready for you to schedule an interview at the U.S. Consulate General in Montreal. If you have already scheduled an interview appointment, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the Consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at:http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3731.htm -
Or you can use "Montreal, IV" <Montreal-IV-DV@state.gov>
you have to put your case number in the topic line. they are quite quick to respond, but responses are dry and dont give much hope.
it seems like we have similar timelines, the updates on the case are usually due to email correspondence, and they tell everyone to allow 8 weeks of processing since the last document received...
Thanks Stellabasset
I emailed them and got a reply in like 5-minutes, but it appears like the standard reply.
"Good afternoon,
Thank you for your email!
Please note your documents were received on July 8th, 2015 and have been forwarded for review. We ask that applicants allow for 8 weeks of processing time from the day we receive the documents at post.
Best regards",

Hi All
I had my interview in June 22nd, 2015. The CO asked for a joint sponsor and required documentation (he also kept my passport). Which I was able to provided same day while I was still in Montreal. I had it courier at my expense to there Montreal mailing address. I'm still in AP status first it said June 25 and it says July 8. What does this mean? As well does anyone have an email as to contact US immigration in Montreal.
Thanks
DSH...
