  1. on the visa bulletin it shows priority dates.. but we have not applied for him yet because his mother is not here in the usa yet... so the date would be when we applied is that correct? for November 2015 it is showing

    F2B 08FEB09

does this mean if he applied back in 2009 they are now just getting to his application approval??? its confusing to me sorry

  2. hello I have been searching this forum but I cant seem to find the right answer... my wife is a us citizen and she petitioned her mother to come to the usa.. she got approved and now her mother is coming to the usa very soon, but the mother wants to petition her son, who is my wifes brother to come also.. how long will it take? he is unmarried with no children... what is the process like?

  3. hello, my mother in law got approved for an interview on her case... which my wife who is a us citizen is sponsoring her mother...

they approved the case and now its being sent to the embassy for the interview, but on the checklist we got it is saying for us to send the petitioners original birth certificate.. which is my wife and she is living in the usa and her mom who we are sponsoring is living in Pakistan... why would they ask for the original birth certificate from my mother in law who is in Pakistan when her daughter who is in usa has the original?? do we need to send my mother in law our only copy of the original birth certificate??? we already sent the nvc the photocopy of my wifes birth certificate?? I don't understand why they are making it hard for us there is no reason my mother in law would have the original birth certificate of her daughter who is not living with her and is in another county far away.. I would just send it but trying to get mail from usa to Pakistan is not guaranteed... I have lost many letters that I sent over to Pakistan so im sure it will not get delivered as needed!?!?

  4. sorry about the timeline im new here i didnt see an option for that... the case is with the NVC and i have tried several times to call them but no one ever picks up no matter what time it is even tho it is during normal business hours... i also tried looking at all the uscis website and i still cannot find why they are asking for the marriage certificate... i guess i might have to get an immigration lawyer involved.. this is so frustrating

  5. hello my wife who is a us citizen applied for her mother to come over... we have done all the forms and all the fees are paid but we do not have a marriage certificate for my mother in law... she lost it and cannot obtain a new one.. she resides in Karachi Pakistan... we got a letter from a government official stating that the certificate is lost and that he vouches that the person listed is married and that my wife is the daughter of said person and we sent that in but after 30 days they are asking for the marriage certificate again... what can i do? this is taking forever and we have no way of getting her certificate.. she was married in 1970 and she tried to obtain a copy but they told her they could not produce her one?? what options do i have after i already told the NVC that we do not have a copy of it... also i dont understand why they are asking for a copy in the first place it has nothing to do with the IR5 parent of a us citizen.. i am attaching a copy of the letter i sent in to them over a month ago
