  1. The answer would be no for both. If you're an American citizen, you're not immigrating to the US, you're simply moving back.

    OK, silly question: Does your answer also apply to an American citizen who is moving to the U.S. but not "back".

    Specifically, my three-year-old daughter, born in Vietnam, who has an American passport but has not yet been to the States. (I'm asking because the form also asks about children.)

    So the plan is that, once my Vietnamese wife has her visa, she will travel to the U.S. with me, her USC husband, and USC daughter. And I suppose the only one who will technically be "immigrating" is my wife. Correct?

    I'm 99% sure it's a silly question, but I'm paranoid about getting something wrong on the form and having our visa process get delayed any more than it already has been.
