singapore, anyone know how to get a letter from the embassy saying it’s needed? Anyone had the same situation? What did you do? Where did you go for the fingerprint scanning? I am about to get married this september to my boyfriend of 8 years I am currently 22 years old and my fiancè is 25, Marriage license is about to be processed in the Phillipines but they said that they need my parents consent to marry. The problem is my Mom ( a single mother) is currently living as a permanent resident in the U.S, I understand that she has to fill up the form that I have given her through email (from city hall in PH) and have it notarized, but does she really have to get it notarized by the PH consulate? are any other law firms in Connecticut(where she lives) notarized parental consent not acceptable by the Philippine government in order get the marriage license?
