Ohh shoot they keep the letter...let me think. Bring your copies of the 129 packet and aos packet. Just in case something is missing on their end. She verified medical was in there. She asked all the yes/no questions on last page of the 129-drugs,guns,terrorism, etc. Asked for his parents names. Whats our home address and where does he work.

I had bank statements, utility bills, recent pics from different seasons, marriage license, family medical coverage proof. She didnt look at anything I brought.

Really short interview only 2 miles from my house. I had everything but didn't need to show anything. The officer did a final security check...and stamped approved on the checklist. She signed about 3 things and said except the card within 90 days. FINALLY!!

If you only need a month in the states, try looking up a room on airbnb. Hopefully you can afford something on there near your job. Good Luck

We filed in Feb, our case is in a REAL local office...about 3 street lights away. Learned this from the Senator's office but nothing else. No updates online.

Yeah like others I'm really curious how long have you been here and how long yall been together. Mother Nature usually stops you that one week..

Check for a form or link on your Senator's website...google your state and look under the immigration section.

Make sure you included a detail statement and proof. I had the same issue and got a RFE requesting 2015 tax return. I gave them the return and wrote a statement explaining why. (biz just got started and had a loss. contracts in place, income coming in..blah blah blah) You will be fine

I thought you meant you never sent them your vac record at any point of the process.

wendyaannn, are you saying that they have absolutely have no record of vacs for your file?

I just about something...for Dominican Republic the vacs were optional for k1 entry. So the country also seems to make a difference.

Yes you will get an RFE, my friend just got one last week. She's a January filer

When I called and spoke to the Tier 2...they said even though the RFE is for the 485, they stop working on the EAD/AP while they review your evidence submitted. My friend a Jan filer got her EAD card in hand, but the next day got a RFE for taxes on the 485. And a week later a RFE on the AP for incomplete medical. Dont worry, it will all come together soon.

@Thepostagestamp...We sent a request based on an employment offer. (its expired now) They responded w a RFE, lol...we replied and waited about 2 weeks, no response if granted or not. So I emailed the senator and they contacted USCIS and asked for status on all 3 cases. Somehow that helped the greencard process as well. The senator mailed us a copy of their emails back and forth.

Hopefully we will have it in our hand this week. Last Thursday it was approved and mailed

Our I-485 case hasn't been updated since 3/18. But we got a letter from the Senator's office with an update...They pushed the Travel and Employment through which I saw were both approved last week. The I-485 got an interview waiver and has been sent to Philly for further processing and completion.

Both i131 & i765: approved and "new card is being produced" and mailed

Does it just say AP?

Thanks, yeah I was looking over other RFEs and this is crazy. Its ok. They will have all 3 items tomorrow. I also hope the rest of the process goes smooth.

Got my RFE today: 1. household size calculated incorrectly "size of 0 or 1 is not acceptable"' (I wrote 3!) 2. Income doesnt meet 125% (My salary is at least 4-5x the limit!) Ummm okkk where's my highlighter! 3. Need English translation of Birth Certificate
