The consular officer said that my sources are not credible. She was trying to adjudicate the relationship between me and my wife which had already been adjudicated through an interview by USCIS. She didn't give me the opportunity to provide additional evidence to substantiate the authenticity and validity of a bona fide marriage.

I'm new to this forum. My petition for a CR2 immigrant visa was denied (221g) and the consular officer stated that she was going to send my folder to the USCIS. I retained a very reputable attorney who sent an e-mail to the consulate for further review and consideration of my petition. My question is, will the consulate respond to my attorneys e-mail and how likely is it that the embassy would reconsider a review of my case. Your urgent response would be very much appreciated.
