Hey guys! The AA US embassy website mentions a $165 immigrant visa fee --- my question is: does that have to be paid prior to the appointment at an Abyssinia bank branch or is that paid after interview is complete?

What I have not tried is asking for a supervisor when calling NVC...like everyone here all I get is still waiting on interview slot. Has anyone tried asking for a supervisor to look into this further? almost 6 months waiting for interview date after cc is unheard of, right?! I asked the NVC rep if there is systematically something wrong that is leading to this delay -- she said "no issues, this wait is normal"...she continued to say if they get 5 interview slots for the month, they assign/schedule those based on CC dates.
