Thank you guys!! On SundaY it posted card being processed and now 4 days later in hand.

so my husband called last week because we still haven't received a job permit for him yet and it's been since April 18th, they told him that they were back up that's why the delay but everything was fine, I went check just a few minutes ago and I got this " On July 23, 2016, we ordered your new card".... Does anyone know how long it takes after they post this online? I am soooo happy as my husband is waiting for this to sign a job contract so THANK GOD for the perfect time...a whole lot of PATIENCE REQUIRED

Hello everyone, I filed in April 18 and my husband already did his bio-metrics in May, we only have 1 receipt number, is this the number we need to keep on checking online? or do you received multiple receipt numbers per form? also there is no status, the only thing that says is that they have received the payment of the biometrics fee and just to follow what he gets on the mail but we haven't heard since May, any help? I am very confused. Thank you !!!

Basically the consular office can extend the approval if visa has not been issued within the 4 month period. I will call USCIS tomorrow because mine expires in November and my interview date is December so just to make sure call them =)

Quick question...

My NOA2 says it's valid through 12/20/2015. Does that mean we need to have our interview completed before then? I'm worried that we won't get one scheduled in Montreal before then because they're so backlogged.

Just ignore whatever the agent say about your case. I was told exactly the same thing when I called last week or a week before last week. I waited few days and called again yesterday. Not only I have the case number, the case already left NVC a day before I called. Good luck!

I called on 8/7 (NVC) and they gave me case number, I have NOA2 dated July 29th. Then I called back again yesterday, basically a week later and the petition was sent to the Embassy on Monday 8/17, I just check the case status and it arrived to the U.S embassy today...so keep calling every day if you can...it gets annoying cuz the call doesn't get through most of the time, but be persistent =) GOOD LUCK!!!

Really frustrating.. weve been calling too, i dont wanna call anymore.. They will just say after 35days.. been waiting for 29days now.. And now im scared when we call them after 35days still have to wait more weeks.. Thats sound sooo depressing well i hope not..

Yayyy!!! my packet just left NVC yesterday!!! I called 10 times yesterday, and after the 5th try today and 40 minutes waiting I received the good news!!!! Today is a great day!! be patient people...things are moving along....we just have to wait and continue to support each other =)

So I called last week and they gave me (petitioner) the case number, however when they told me my fiance email (beneficiary)it was incorrect but I didn't realized. ..I'm calling to get that update, does anyone know if the embassy send you things by email instead of mail? I'm afraid he may missed an email. Thanks

Hello guys!!! After calling for about 2 weeks every day 3 times a day lol I finally got through and it's been received!!! For those of you applying (Colombian embassy) should I wait until the application arrives to the embassy first so my fiance can start setting up the doctors appointments and interview? And also when should I send him the affidavit of support, paystubs? What other docs he need from me? Does he take these to the interview? I'll be going with him....thank you and congrats to all the ones that are receiving good news =)

Same here, I couldn't get through all week saying the line was busy and to call later. I called today and finally they answered and advised they haven't received it yet. My NOA date is July 23rd. Let's keep hoping and patiently waiting =)

Yeah call them next week. ..I heard it arrives at the NVC in a few days, make sure you guys are following the countries consulate on visa journey, it has details on what to do once it gets send to NVC and then the consulate

Does anyone knows exactly what forms are needed once petition has been approved? it appears that there are different forms online and my fiancé (beneficiary) is unsure of what forms are needed. any suggestions?

Also I check the case status option on the website because I tried to create and account and it says I already have one but when I reset the password it says my account is locked so is the case status option still reliable for those that are checking for NOA2? Thank you guys!!

So after we receive our NOA2 and it goes to the National Visa Center, should I be sending any documentos to my fiance ? (I am the one requesting him) according to him he will need my paystubs, letter of employment, and all that for the interview, is this true? I just want to know in advance to send him anything needed in case I have to. Thanks
