There are a handful of these around the country and there is one in Dallas. They will guarantee that the passport will be delivered before your trip. In fact, they have same day service for people traveling within 48 hours. You will need to make an appointment but all they will need is a printout of your itinerary. This does not have to be emergency travel. You can tell them you're going on vacation.
