I would like only to know what is the requirements for a K2 visa, I already read online the requirements needed but I just want to make sure if anyone here have the same situation like me since she will be following me in the states and she is 14years old which is a minor age. Just wondering if I need to make an authorization letter for my brother who will accompany her on medical and interview. My K1 visa was issued in US manila last Aug 21, 2015.

I had an approved K1 visa interview last August 12 in USEM, I just track my status and it says READY,your case is open.What does READY status mean? Why some of us who had the same interview date already had an ISSUED status?

I am very concern with this because my Fiancee want to book a ticket but we can't decide what's the best time, my Fiancee want to buy me a ticket as soon as possible but we don't know the time frame.

Hello everyone, just had my interview today and I am approve.I was so happy and excited. About the issue of my police clearance in Brunei, yes the CO ask me if I have it abide I handed to him, he didn't ask me any questions about my record in Brunei,they are just concern about providing what's being ask by your CO.

I have a concern here about NBI clearances for anulled applicant. I went to the NBI yesterday and release my clearance . As i went through it, i have in doubt because they wrote down like this: AKA section, FATHER'S SURNAME, HUSBAND NAME, FIRST NAME.

I ask them to make me another one but it's under my AKA again: FATHER'S SURNAME de HUSBAND NAME, FIRST NAME y MIDDLE NAME.

Now i am confused because the NBI officer told me that i dont need to put an AKA since i dont have any other names.

I am confused now, I have realized that i should just have to apply for my Married Name Status since i have already my Single Name Status.

Please advice since i have few days more to go before my interview. Thank you so much.

Since he will be transfer already to his hometown during my interview because he's project is about to end already. Is it ok if I'll say he's back to his hometown, so then it won't be able to connect what we have written down to our DS-160 and other forms. Pls advice. Thank you

Hello everyone,my niece in Brunei just released my police clearance yesterday and according to my P.C that I have an offence under their Religious Council having a suspicious proximity to any Muslim. As I stated above that I've been in a relationship with a Muslim guy which I really didn't know that this is a criminal offence to them.

Does anyone think that this is considered as a red flag on my K1 interview? Thank you for your future replies.

Regarding about when was the specific time my EX filed our annulment, I don't really have an exact answer and I cannot find to my court decision. The Civil Case # was written but really don't know the exact filing of our annulment. The place that my Ex filed our annulment is very very far from my place if I still need to go there and find out. I know the year. Is there any problem if I'll just tell to the psychiatrist the year since I am not the one who filed and I am outside the country?

I came across this forum and found out that we're on the same boat,but for me my psychological evaluation will be on July 22nd. I'm sorry but I cannot give you an answer to your questions but based on what they instructed me when they scheduled my evaluation, they told me that the result will take 4-5 working days and maybe they also told you that so nothing to worry about we just really need to go through this process.

I have a question coz you already undergo to psychological evaluation and I will be going through soon. Did they asked you when did you/ex filed your annulment? Coz I even don't know mine for the reason that I am working outside the country when he filed. May I also asked what sort of questions did they asked you?

Hi Greenbaum, Thank you for your reply and concern. Regarding to your question if they gave me a written document for holding my PC, they didn't gave me any. I just knew that to my niece whose helping me to process in Brunei. They always told her nextweek. I also talked to my ex Boss in Brunei and it's the same result "pending" and he also mentioned that Brunei authorities style is slow for such response.

All I have is the receipt applying for my PC. Is that considered as a proof?

Hello everyone, I am a newbie on this forum and i have a concern that let me worry. I am a k1 applicant in Manila,Philippines. My interview is approaching and one of the requirements is a police clearance whenever you reside outside the country for more than six months at the age of 16. I've been working and lived in Brunei Darusallam for over 6 years and in my stay there i had a relationship with this Muslim guy. Unfortunately, their religious officers they called it "Syariah" caught us in a room but we don't do anything. So from then they file a case to my Muslim guy where in he never attended. In short, i was blacklisted in Brunei for having an affair to a Muslim not knowingly about this law because i am a non Muslim.

The issue here is i was trying to get a police clearance and they were holding it right now, they didn't release yet. Whatever the case i have there they need to issue me a police record and whenever my interview is, i have a police clearance to show and explain truthfully why that happened.

May you please advice what is the best thing i will do for this matter since police clearance is required. In case they will not issue a police clearance due to my issue, is this will affect severely my K1 visa which i know is not a criminal offence? please help me answer my burdens.
