Usually IR1/CR1 visas takes a lot longer to issue than other type of visas. I am not 100% sure but thats what I notice from most cases.

Hello thank you for your response. I just notice that in my visa printed in my passport, my middle name is not separated with my given name. Is that normal? Example:

Surname:

xxxxx

Given Name:

Xxxxxx<--- my name xxxxx<--- my middle name

There are only surname and given name areas no middle name area.

I am off to go now having my visa packet, but im afraid i can't fly to u.s not until december first week. Besides the medical and visa expiration, is it really necessary that i should travel now that i have my visa? And can my parents just receive the green card on my behalf? (My family is there already) or am i required to personally receive it on mail? Because i am positive that by december my green card will most likely be there too before i arrive.

When i got home from the interview my ceac account says issued. 3 working days after (today to be exact) 2go texted that they will deliver it today.

Hello been there done that last september 23 and got approved, i suggest to give your daughter a Marriage Certificate/Annulment(IF ANNULLED) (NSO COPY) original. I was never asked for those in USCIS/NVC stage, I just brought it for back up. They didn't ask anything from me part from those. I brought every original copy and even had a new nbi clearance(for 16yrs old. above only). Also make sure to give her a copy of the most recent income tax return.

I had the same case! My mom had a misspelled maiden name on my birth certificate, and it is different with her birth cert,marriage cert, etc. But to God's glory my visa was approve and they never asked for it just dont bring it up anyways hahahaha GOODLUCK! Im under IR2 visa

Im not really into fiance conversations/posts since i am IR2, but this is just too devastating I never knew this really happens in real life. But I do hope for you to move on.. Come to think of it, this is God's way telling you "nawp shes not for you, you have to let go or else something worst can happen." Opposing to what other people say I do not agree that you find another one for you to move on. Im tracking it at ustravel /ph/ site by the means of my passport number, but to my dismay no update yet. But according to a friend its only a matter of 3 days after approval. If its accurate we should have the packet by tomorrow. I also heard that CFO seminar thing is kinda hassle, when the packet arrives we should schedule right away.

Just type your passport number there and it should say something.

it took us less than 30 days back then (month of august 2015) and then a week later we got our appointment, you will have it soon endurance and patience is the key. Goodluck!

i had my interview 23rd of sept. 2015 approved, when i got home CEAC says "ISSUED". I got issued the same day I had my interview

I had the same thing on mind hahaha i was approved yesterday. I was expecting to go at 2go window but i was just given a piece of paper to register online. What surprised me the most the same dayy i got my visa "ISSUED" on CEAC site, hoping to get my visa packet soon.

Hello wandering IR2 applicant here, i just want to share early today i attended my appointment with full courage. Knowing that theres an error with our middle name spelling (mom and i had a different spelling, 1letter different to be exact) to make the long story short. I WAS APPROVED with prayers impossible is just a word! Be brave trust GOD and be confident your good to go. GOODLUCK AND THANKS VJ FAMILY :')

I am an IR2 our PD is july 2,2014. We had a delay but it was our fault for not sending documents right away as the nvc instructed. Nonethless after we submitted the docs last june, got my case complete on aug 26? And i will be having my interview on sept. 23

Thank you! I think i will still risk going with the interview, i gathered all the supporting documents such as baptismal certificate, pictures from birth up to present etc. even the receipts and remittance just to prove our legitimate relationship and old copies documents, just in case for the worst to come. But i am at ease feeling that they wont be asking for it, they should have declined our application since the beginning if this issue is serious. What im holding right now is faith and trust with the Lord and answer all with all honesty.

Good day everyone, so I and my grandma will be having our interview on sept. 23(my schedule) and 24(grandmas schedule) i have some few issues, we completed our documents already, as I review them...

1st- issue-> my grandma's middle name in her birth cert. is different to her daughter's(petitioner) birth certificate. for example

Grandmas name in her birth certificate : xxxxx sapasip xxxxx (sample only)

grandmas name in petitioner's birth cert : xxxxx maraya xxxxx (sample only)

other than that everythings alright except that middle name.

2nd issue-> my petitioner is my step father(USC), my mother's middle name is misspelled in her birth certificate but correct in my birth cert. example

Moms middle name in my birth cert : Feles(sample only)

moms middle name in her birth cert: Felis(sample only)

I dont know if this is an issue because my step father is the petitioner.

please help me i have hard time sleeping at night already ?

mine was completed on aug, 11 2015 and i got my interview letter after 15 days... im not sure cause not everyone has the same case

Can i accompany my grandma inside the embassy? Shes old already she cant do it by herself. My interview is one day ahead of her. Please any response and were not considering reschedules for it may cause conflicts

I dont know how they picked my case but my grandma who's also ahead of me got a later appointment too. I really dont know? I just thank God and the Heavens above. Goodluck and best wishes!

i got my interview!!!! and its on september 24 )) GOODLUCK!!!

ill be following your post, since i am as well waiting for my son's interview date. cc last aug14 and received the letter thru email last aug 21.

by the way, i just called the us embassy philippines, i was told i can make an interview appointment in an early dates even if my son's paper isn't at the us embassy yet but during the time of his appointment date and his docs aren't still at the embassy they will not entertain him, so i guess once we have his interview date we can change the appointment into earlier dates as long as his docs are already there i guess philippine us embassy isn't that busy. And according to the NVC, it all depends on the #s of the visa to be interview in the consulate per day.

I will surely keep you updated whenever I receive an appointment letter. Best wishes for your son and family goodluck to us!
