    I had my interview on 3rd december..and Alhamdulilah i got approved!! CO was really nice..just 2 basic questions asked and no proof or anything was required from me! It was a very smooth process. Today my case status shows 'Issued' :)

    Amna can you please let us know whenever you receive the call to pick up ur passport. I just want to know how many days they take to deliver passport after approval.

    Providing English Translations of Pakistani Nikah Nama & Form-B (CRC)

    HI, everyone.

    In this post I am providing my fellow VJ member from pakistan English Translations of NIKAH NAMA and FORM-B (CHILD REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE under the age of eighteen).

    When submitting documents to NVC these are the only two forms you need translations of.

    If you go to translation centre, they will charge you RS-500 for each translation and it will have many errors and it doesn't look pretty either.

    So, I decided to make my own translation format so I can share it with every Pakistani on this planet.

    Simply remove names & addresses and fill in the exact names and addresses from your Nikah Nama. The names and addresses that I have filled in are just examples of what and how you need to fill.

    AFter filling it out just take it to any Translation Centre and ask them to print it out on their LETTER HEAD and put their TRANSLATION STAMP on it.

    For the Translation Centre to print on their letter head, I have left space on top of every page, so they can either put their translation logo on the top OR adjust the spaces given and simply print out on their letter head.

    The translation I am providing is the best looking translation you can find in Pakisatn, I have worked very hard on this translation and now I am sharing it with the World.

    By using this translation you can have a better looking accurate translation and you can also save money.

    How you will save money:

    1-Fill out the form at home.

    2-take it to any Translation centre and ask them to print on their Letter Head.

    3-The translation centre cannot charge you full amount for the translation (RS-500) because he is not translating it for you, he is basically only printing it out on his Letter Head.

    4-AT the end of each translation there is a translation certification statement. The Translation centre guy has to fill his name, sign and stamp with his translation centre stamp. (the translation may not be accepted by NVC if the translation centre guy does not fill his name, sign and stamp in the certification statement).

    4-For this service he will charge you anywhere between RS-100 to RS-150..

    in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports

    the mistake my lawyer made iis:

    1. Wrong number of household size for my joint sponsor on I-864.

    2. Wrong employment status for my main sponsor on I-864.

    3. Wrong current annual household income total on my joint sponsor I-864 (The difference is of only a few dollars).

    4.Wrong 2014 Total Income on my joint sponsor I-864. (the difference is of only a few dollars).

    5.Wrong Current annual household income for my main sponsor on I-864 (the difference is of only 500$).

    all the above calculations are off by a few hundered dollars, I asked my lawyer to make new I-864 so I can take it to my interview, but she refused to and said that she will make new I-864 only if they ask for it on the interview day (I really regret hiring a Lawyer). But now I am completing the I-864 & I-864A on my own and having my Main Sponsor and Joint SPonsor sign them. DWheels we can make new I-864 without the lawyer right? The interpreter and preparer sections do we leave them blank? I wonder how did NVC complete my case with these mistakes.

    If asked for a new I-864 on my interview day, will the embassy accept the new updated I-864 on the spot?

    My interview has been scheduled for December 9. Can I request Islamabad Embassy to see if it is possible to re-schedule my interview for an earlier date? If yes then what is the procedure.

    Consulate: Islamabad, Pakistan.

    1. August 28 - Submitted Ds-260.

    2. September 02 - Mailed AOS & Civil Documents to NVC via FEDEX.

    3. September 03 - Fedex tracking shows package delivered.

    4. September 04 - NVC scanned the package, confirmed over the phone with NVC helpline.

    5. September 05 - Received NVC acknowledgment email, stating to give 30 days to review documents.

    6. September 25 - NVC REVIEWED DOCUMENTS AND THE CASE WAS COMPLETED in 22 days (confirmed over the phone).

    7. October 22 - Interview scheduled for December 9.
