    As a US Citizen I understand I can petition for my mother, that being said, I have a few questions:

    a) Can she come in with a tourist visa and adjust while here or is that illegal?

    b) I know it varies on a case basis and there are a lot of variables, but what is the average time that it takes counting from the time I file for her while she is still abroad until she can actually come to the US?

    c) Can she visit under her tourist visa while in this process?
