Hello everyone,
Before I go ahead and ask the question I just wanted to say few things about my immigration status; and about my life in US. I have landed in US with F1 Visa stamped on my passport. In my first year of college, I met my wife, who is an US citizen. We have been legally married and living together for 2 years now. Due to my miserable married life, I couldn’t be able to focus on my studies. Consequently, I didn’t go to college for a semester which reflected on my F1 status and then my status got terminated. However, after taking a semester off, I continued my studies in the same college for following semester and still enrolled yet with OUT-OF-STATUS.
Now, my question is about I-360 Petition that It's been an year, I am suffering from emotional abuse by my wife and being abused every day in my house. I have all the documentation which proves that I live with my wife and how she abused me and made my life so miserable. I was told by my friend about this VAWA and I also been reading online about this immigration Law lately. I am ready to file this case, but I need to make sure that If I fall under this category also if my current proofs are eligible and sufficient to get my application approved. Since I will be applying on my own, I wanted any of you who can provide me any best relevant information regarding my case which could help to build my case stronger.
I have filled the I-360 and I-485 applications and planning to submit concurrently. Along with I-360 form, I have attached the following documents:
-
A personal statement
-
A joint bank statement
-
A joint credit card statement
-
A joint lease agreement
-
A joint Electricity bill
-
A joint phone bill
-
A life insurance where my wife is stated as beneficiary
-
Many Medical reports which shows that I am being abused by wife
-
A police report and protection order against her
-
Many affidavits from friends
-
Marriage certificate
Is there anything I am missing beside these documents mentioned above. IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU THINK I SHOULD ATTACH IT WITH MY FILE?
I would like to thank to VisaJourney and all the members on this forum for your answers to my inquiry regarding I-360 petition.
Thanks
Ryan

Hello folks,
I have a question regarding I-360 form as it follows:
Can we use PO Box number for correspondence mail from USCIS for I-360? Since I cant use permanent home address as the abuser live there, too.
Please let me know what I can do for situation like this?
Thanks
