Ok so my wife was able to cross the border by vehichle using her nexus pass while her Immigrant visa is undergoing "administrative processing". No problems at all.

So glad i found this thread! So my wife is in the same position, she had her interview and they needed some more info (original I864 and translated birth cert). Her visa is undergoing administrative processing and it could be 8 weeks until she gets her passport and visa packet back. She lives in vancouver and i'm in seattle, I'm hoping she can come visit using her NEXUS pass, but i can't seem to find any information on if she'll be denied entry due to a pending immigrant visa! Any info will help.

Hello fellow VJ'ers.

My wife had her interview in Montreal on June 9th. It went well, but they needed a translated birth certificate and an original I-864. Those items have been sent in and received and her Immigrant Visa status is currently showing "Administrative Processing". We are curious if she can cross the border to come visit me in Seattle using her NEXUS pass. They took her passport at the interview and it will be returned along with the visa packet pending admin processing.
