yes just pray and everything will be fine. i ask the sputum collector before during my 3 days sputum collection on how many people get positive results from this process, she said very small percentage.

Hi! I was sick 2 weeks before I took my medical at St. Luke's. I don't have Tb history and my last xray is clear so I was really shocked when they asked me to take another xray on my first day..they took a back x-ray this time then they asked me to come back the next day. I couldn't sleep that night. The following day the guard stamp my receipt with "laboratory reception" there they told me that I should take a sputum test coz xray shows that there's something suspicious on upper right of my lungs and they wanna check it ( I literally cried as the nurse explain me the process ). She also said that their test at St. Luke's is different from other clinic cause they are following US standard. My schedule is next week (sept.22,23 & 24). I was surprised on how my x-ray turned out. I thought it was god sign (that my fiancé & I are not meant to be together) silly me ?. There's a lot of emotion right now. I feel embarrassed and scared. Thank god I found this site and read that it's not just me who went through it. I hope my sputum is negative. Someone advice me to drink 16 glasses of water daily coz it helps. Reading all your experienced helps a lot

ang sabi lang po tumawag daw po ako pero kung hindi daw po sila matawagan email lang po. yung araw na pinapunta ka po nila ba yun din po yung araw na makapag immunization ka po?

oo, pag natapos mo yung 2months na walang tawag ibig sabihin pasado ka na. Negative yun, proceed ka na agad sa immunization para sa vaccines. kahit di nila sabihin yung result over the phone, negative na yun.

hindi ako tumawag sa st lukes. nag email lng ako tas mabilis din sls magreply. sabi nila wag na daw ako tumawag pumunta nlng daw ako sa st lukes binigyan nila ako ng date, june29 kasi yung end ko sa 2months then july 1 nila ako pinabalik

Opo nga e sabi po ng mga nabasa ko sa post dito. Crucial week daw po 3-6 weeks. Kaya nagdadasal na lang po ako na wag matawagan. June 17 pa po dapat, natapos na po papa ko. Pero hanggang ngayon wala pa po visa niya

Oo ako. tumawag ako sa Us embassy nung july 1 after kong bumalik sa st lukes. tas yun pumilo ako ng schedule na mga available nung july 21 ako nag interview.san ka po bang states?

Yes!I am a Filipino. I'm from Olongapo City. They told me too that they saw some spots on my left lung, but when i had my xray here they saw nothing. They told me that my lungs are clear. I really dont know, hoping for the best and hoping not to hear a call from st. lukes. Are you the one to reschedule your interview or st.lukes did it for you ?? thanks

They told me too that i have an abnormality on my xray.

Thank you sir. I'm only 15 years old and the moment that i knew that i need to undergo the sputum exam i got dissapointed. but now i'm good since the smear got negative. Can i ask? Did they told you what they saw on your xray. Cause i'm very confuse. Thanks. Have a safe trip

So you're a filipino right? Im only 18 when I take my Medical exam. And yes, they told me about my xray that I have a mark on the upper right of my lungs. but its just abnormality so my sputum culture in 2 months turns negative. And Im happy that they didnt call me before the given date from st lukes.

I'm in your situation too. I'm on my 3rd week going to my 4th week. Still hoping for the best and of course i never forget to pray,I Hope somebody will be able to reply. I'm totally new here. Thanks a lot..

Goodluck bro. Im done in my 2months sputum culture and luckily I passed it. It turns negative. My visa was delivered today and I'm ready to go to US next month. Hope that you will get a best result for your sputum culture. best of luck ?

Glad that I found this site. I experienced too, the 2 months sputum culture and today is the that my sputum culture ends. I need to come back on July 1, 2015 fo my Immunization and result.
