I was reading http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...229&hl=this thread and I seen this there
In Secondary, info will be entered into the computer and a few random questions may come out (how long married, where are you going etc). You may want to confirm your US mailing address here. You'll give a fingerprint and autograph (for the Green Card) and the visa in your passport will be stamped aka endorsed. This endorsement is the equivilant of your Green Card and serves as evidence of your status as a Permanent Resident. You can travel with this stamp as a Permanent Resident until you get your Green Card. Hopefully someone will tell you "Welcome to America" as they give you instructions about removing conditions in 2 years (ideally & if applicable).
You are now a Permanent Resident! The Green Card and Social Security card will be mailed to you within 4 weeks.
And to be honest it had me very worried I thought maybe I missed some important mail!! Now I believe that is just for the direct consular filed marriages.

My fiance arrived feb 3, 2007. I need to know what steps we need to take now. We are getting married later today . I just want to make sure I don't make any mistakes risking her being able to stay. I searched the forums but it was all very confusing for me.

[Ok I talked to operator at nvc on 13/10/06 They told me they didn't recieve the information.
I talked on 14/10/06 And not only did they have the info but it had been sent to Ankara. I am not sure how or why the security check went so fast. Perhaps its because its a woman. I am not sure. I just now I am glad

The NVC case number (so the new number we get for our cases) is made up of three letters and ten figures. I guess it's the same for everyone.
I am trying to track a dhl package to the us embassy in Ankara, Turkey. I can't seem to track anything at all. Using the method from above

Its not easy to wait. It feels like I have been waiting forever. Today however I got some good news. I finaly reached an operator and got our nvc number. The surprise was they got it and already sent it too turkey. Yesterday I had checked and they said they hadnt recieved anything.
I also hope for luck for you because the a/r seem to be bad from pakistan. Luckily for me Iranian women seem to have a bit less of a check but still braced for another delay myself.
Good luck and don't lose heart

Our case just went to nvc. I am hoping it moves very quickly . She is in Iran with her family currently and we are anxious to be together.
First question is how long from the time the nvc sends documents are the interviews scheduled typically?
Second question is she and I want to wait for the visa after the interview and fly home together. Is this wise? I am not sure how many Iranian women interviews go to a/r.
Thanks

You will receive a decision on your petition soon! They are indicating that they have received your RFE response, and they are saying that they have all information necessary to make a decision on your case.
This is a good thing. Keep checking your mail!
I also recieved the same thing on 09-29-06 from csc. Anyone care to take a wild guess at how long this may take from this point.

Yes, I am just starting the long road . I am going to meet her in Armenia in May. I am very excited about
that. I wanted to go meet her family but due to politics we decided to meet in Yerevan. So It looks as if I am
the newest in line lol. It seems from reading different posts that Iranian women get approved faster than the
men. Anyway I am sure I will be around in the days to come. Good luck to all.

I am just starting this process myself. I am debating what embassy to use. My fiance is an Iranian of Armenian descent. You are not alone

I-134 question for mom and sisters visit
in Bringing Family Members of US Citizens to America
Posted
The question i have is in regards to question 9 and 10 on I134 form. How do i find out the exact date i submitted a previous visa petition ( for my wife). I am wondering is it the day of her interview last year or is it some other day I need to research? We really want her wife and sister to be able to come visit.
