  1. Just checked my USCIS status and found out that both my EAD and AP were approved last friday, April 15. FINALLY!

It initially said card was ordered and now it says it was approved.

I hope I get the card ASAP bec I'll already be having my first job interview tomorrow.

Hope to get it before I accept any job offer.

For those of our fellow february filers who haven't received any update on their cases yet, hang in their.

They are really working on our cases!

I guess it just differs based on our CIS locations.

My EAD and AP took almost 70 days to be approved.

  2. Hi fellow February filers, today marks the 69th day since my AOS/EAD/AP application was received.

I still haven't heard anything, last update was February 11.

I've read that many filers whose cases exceeded 75 days sent a service request but found it useless.

Many chose to ask for their congressman's help that gave them more favorable results.

Just a question, is it practical to start applying for a job right now so I can maybe receive a job offer to show the congressman's office?

I'm just so frustrated right now.

I'm tired of just staying at home all the time since I got here in December.

I also want to be able to help my partner with the increasing bills

Hope anyone could shed some light on this please.

I'm based in Anchorage, Alaska by the way.

Thank you in advance! Oh and congrats again for those who have gotten their EAD/Green cards already!

  3. I've been following this thread since I started my AOS Journey (Feb. 04) and wow, the fast approvals are really inspiring!

Gives me hope that at least, they are already working on February filers. :dancing:

With almost everyone getting the good news, I can't help but feel a little worried about my cases bec. according to USCIS, my cases were last touched February 11, 2016.

I filed for AOS early Feb and I had my bio taken March 04.

I'm so tired of staying at home the whole time, just want to be able to work ASAP

Do you guys know how many days/weeks should I still wait before calling the USCIS for an update?

And what number should I call?

    Thank you in advance!

  4. Help! Iam from the Philippines, I have an issue with my birth certificate, my father's name should have a "III" in the last part but my birth certificate doesn't reflect it so I went to local registry where I was born and submitted all papers to correct my father's name in my birth certificate. According to them, it was a clerical error and is governed under R.A. 9048 Correction of clerical error. It frustrates me to know that this could delay my visa process for 3-4 months. Does anyone here experienced the same thing or has knowledge about this process? Does this really take 3-4 months? :( I cannot apply for a passport because of this. Thanks in advance!

    NOA 1: July 1, 2015
    NOA 2: July 27, 2015

  5. Just checked my status getting an RFE :( I'm not sure how because I followed everything here to the T. Sucks!!!!!

Hi, may i know for what reason you got an RFE for? My fiance just passed our I-129F package last June 27 and I'm just being a little paranoid about it. Thanks.

We got RFE today ! gosh .. haiszzzz ..

Hi, may i know for what reason you got an RFE for? :clock: I'm from the Philippines too.

  6. Hello Fellow Filers :)

My file was received in Dallas on June 12 and routed to the California Service Center. The notice date on my NOA1 is June 16th, 2015.

I am hoping I get the same speedy approval I see that many have. Hopefully they didn't get too many applications in June, which I understand is the busiest month. If anyone gets an RFE I would love to hear about it. That is my primary anxiety right now.

    Good luck everyone :)

Hello everyone! My fiancee passed our I-129F package just last Friday. I hope we all guys get processed fast. :)
