    Wife and Son immigrated to the USA successfully 3 weeks ago.

    We paid for the Green Card on the USCIS Elis Website before she left.

    My question is how do we track the progress of the green Card.

    It is asking for a Reciept Number which i do not have.

    Anyone have any input please do let me know

    Do we need to take a copy of the I-864 to the Interview ?

    I did not make a copy of it and not the damn forms have changed..

    Upon close observation it's the same ol form in a new format and 3 extra pages for interpreters and additional information.

    obviously i wil have take the new one right..

    I cannot find the older version anywhere anymore unless someone here has one downloaded and can send me a pdf )

    My case was completed on AUG 6TH.

    Some people from the U.K with CC's on the 1st,4t,5th, and even the 10th have all been scheduled for Late SEP interviews at the London Embassy.

    So i call NVC to see whats up right and say..

    How come people who have had their Case Closed on the 1st,4th,5th and even 10th got their interviews and not me...

    The grumpy old hag on the phone tells me '' Why would you even think of such a thing'' ?

    I said:'' Because on the internet there are many websites you can go and see who has got an Interview when''

    She's like ''Well then there are other factors involved''

    So i say: Other factors...OMG Ma'am, My case was closed the same as other peoples cases were closed, My petition has a Woman just like mot other Petitions may have a woman, I have a Child on another case at the NVC (that is also case completed) i am sure other people also have the same human being type looking children.

    I am sure the person/people who schedule the interviews can CLEARLY see on the screen infront of them whose case's they are ignoring.....lol

    SHE CUT ME OFF AND TOLD ME

    ''WELL THEY ARE OTHER UNDERLINING FACTORS INVILVED I AM NOT AT LIBERTY TO DISCUSS'

    I WAS SPEECHLESS AND PUT THE PHONE DOWN..

    TOTALLY HEARTBROKEN NOW

    LOST ALL HOPE AND GIVE UP.

    MARRIED FOR 16 YRS HAVE 4 KIDS

    THE WHOLE FAMILY IS DIVIDED AND SPLIT UP..

    JUST FINISHED A TEN YEAR PENALTY FOR OVERSTAYING AND I AM STILL MADE TO SUFFER..

    LOST ALL MY MONEY AND EVERYTHING FOR THIS STUPID THING.

    I AM FINISHED...

    Congratulations on all my fellow UK V J'ers.

    I truly am very happy for you.

    Hope you all re united with your loved ones,

    As for me my CC was the 6th of Aug but i have no news as of yet.

    I made the stupid mistake of overstaying my Visa Waiver when i first got married in 1999 and since then i have had to do a Ten yr penalty.

    My I-130 was filed in May of 2014 and i am still made to wait as a punishment maybe...

    Please pray for me as i am ready to throw in the towel.

    called a few min ago 1:00pm Uk time.

    Dialled and got thru immediately.

    Pressed 1 and 7 and did not have to wait to talk to anyone .. anyway.

    We are still scheduling but London has not gotten back to us yet so pls hang on

    arrrrrrrrgh.

    I have waitied 11 yrs for this and it still is taking forever.

    lost my job , lost everything in the process.

    So heartbroken.

    I called an hour ago and surprisingly only waited on the phone for 15 mins tops.

    Upon asking the agent on the phone if an Interview was scheduled and IF they were still scheduling for Sept he said

    ''Yes we are still currently scheduling for Sept but cannot guarantee you if you will be eligible for a Sep slot''

    What else was i supposed to say...I just hung up..

    Speechless.

    I feel the anger here amongst members regarding the Interview process.

    You'd thing once the case was completed it'd be downhill from there lol but Bloody heck.

    I am getting a bit paranoid at this moment.

    Maybe it's nothing (I hope not) but the more i think about it it freaks me out...

    According to some conspiracy theorists this September 2015 is the end of the famous (dreaded) seven year cycle where things always seem to go wrong.

    This year people are predicting an Asteroid hitting off the coast of Puerto Rico (Highly unlikely) and/or an Economic Collapse (very likely) much more worse than the one in 2008 which would totally cause chaos and anarchy everywhere.

    I normally do not believe anything like this sort of stuff but history does not lie for example check this out.

    Seven yrs ago (in 2008) we had the Economic Collapse, the seven yrs before that we had 9-11, the seven before that there was something else, and so on etc.

    Some people are predicting some crazy things for this year and i hope and pray to GOD they are wrong because i really need my Family to get their Visas ASAP.

    Expediting an Existing case at NVC Question

    Hi there.

    Does anyone know if a case that is in the Review Process with the NVC can be expedited in anyway through the review process until the Interview.

    In other words, would it be possible to have the review processed quickly ?

    If the review process cannot be expedited and has to take it's natural course then would it be possible in anyway to get the Interview date earlier than the standard One Month window given normally after the case is complete.

    If so then what are the correct procedures/Protocols ?

    I was wondering if anyone here had called the NVC and was told that their paper worK will take 30 days to review.

    Also does scan date mean the date in which the IV Packet and the AOS Packet were logged into the NVC system ?

    What does scan date mean

    Ok so i chose and agent (myself) over the phone, Paid the AOS an d IV fees by mail (got the email confirmation), Completed the DS 260 on the Ceac website (Once it started working again), and mailed both the AOS and Civil documents on the 13th of July (Which upon calling the NVC last night) I was told that the paperwork was logged into their system on the 16th of July.

    Now my Question is what is a scan date ?

    I see a lot of people talking about three N/As and a Scan Date ???

    Also one of the NVC operators told me that if my paperwork is in order it will take 3 weeks to review ?

    How come everyone else is saying it takes 60 days ?

    Somebody pls explain it to me so my thick skull can understand..

    I just checked my Online Portal on the Ceac..state.gov website and it says..

    AOS FEE PAID

    AOS DOCUMENTS AND FINANCIAL EVIDENCE N/A

    IV FEE PAID

    IV APPLICATION COMPLETED

    CIVIL DOCUMENTS N/A

    It does not mention anything being scanned by them.

    I sent the Docs off to them on July 13th and it got to them by the 14th.

    Do i have to call the NVC to see if they have my Docs logged into the system or do i just hang in there until i get a notification for case complete.

    I was wondering if anyone can please let me know what happens after The all the Documents have been submitted to the NVC.

    Does the NVC email us telling us how long it will take to review ?

    Or

    Will the NVC Send a mail at the mailing Address ?

    Also when I sign into my account at ceac.state.gov it says N/A under AOS Documents etc ?

    Confused please help if anyone can

    With my regular dose of bad luck

    like and idiot (But hey how was i supposed to know NVC was gonna fix the problem) i posted my AOS and IV fees off on Monday by Mail.

    The i find out the Fees can now be paid online as it has been fixed lol

    I am worried.

    My Fees are sitting in a PO BOX in Missouri waiting to be picked up and logged in to the system when i could have just waited and paid online and had it all processed in 5 days...

    WHAT BAD LUCK..

    FOLKS HOW LONG DO YOU THINK THIS IS GONNA TAKE NOW ?

    Yes as a matter of fact i RE ITERATE it is very selfish indeed.

    It is very selfish for a person who knows someone (for a long time)in difficulty and who has lots of wealth to help but does not.

    Especially when you do someone a favor and they cannot give you a favor back in return when they have the full power to do so..

    I do not use the word selfish lightly as well.

    I am talking about people whom i know who are Millionaires.

    If i had the resources i would, after thorough investigation into a persons case(And based upon that persons attitude) sign an Affidavit of Support for anyone just to do a good deed.

    If i had millions i would not care two hoots about that person depending on me for support,Heck i would carry them right until they got their Citizenship.

    But that is just me...

    THE MOST TOUCHING PART OF MY WHOLE ORDEAL THAT THE PERSON WHOM I FOUND TO ACT AS A SPONSOR IS NOT RICH AND IS WORKING HIS BUTT OFF WITH MINIMUM WAGE...

    NOW THAT IS NOT SELFISH

    THAT IS A HUMAN BEING...
