You said that you've been married for 5 years but then you say you got "really got married late".

What does that mean? When did you get married?

I mean late as by age . we were married for 5 years. we were married in 2011.

Hi there, i have a question that my husband is us citizen since 25 years and this year will be our 5th year of marriage while i come to us in nov 2014 as we really got married late. So my question is that when should i apply for citizenship as i got my GC in dec2014. Thanks in advance.

They just took the packet at Houston . Then they ask me to sit in other room they check the packet and then they call my name took my finger print then they give me my pass port with entry stamp tats it it took 30 minute.

well i still have question that driving licence which has photo of you and green card is not enough for that or just only need marriage certificate . As i dont change my name i just renew it still i need marriage certificate.

I am in US since November 2014 . In april i go back to my country as my mom was not well. I stay there about one and half months . I am green card holder which is valid for 10 years. Now i am planning to go to see my mom in January for 20 days so when my husband should apply for my citizenship. I was told by someone that i should apply in 2017 but my husband said that by the end of 2016. please i need advice no bad comments.

Do u guys know any one whos ds 260 is expired but embasy hav askd only medical but not ds 260,,,,,, like what i am asking is that is there any one with who the embasy contacted after more than a year and ds 260 is expired but embasy only has told to submit medical and not ds 260

2nd question: Is there any one u know who embassy told to submit ds 260 and medical but not caled for oath and fingrprint??????????? and then it expired and embasy hav told to submit again.....?????

I got my ir1 visa last year we submit ds 260 and medical but they dont call me for oath and finger prints they send me visa after submitting some additional documents in 10 days and got my visa in hand.

It's been soooo long since ive come on visa journey and posted but i used to post every day until my heart broke but now we have good news!!!

WE ARE APPROVED!!!!!!! Hes coming home!!!!

Eabbas i am silent reader of this site it help me alot in my Ap days , i use to log in as anonymus and I keep reading all your post believe me or not i m so happy for you.

there are few emotional things which i my self miss here a lot in usa is my love one ,our festivals like eid and bakra eid. miss the smell of the food these things you never bring here but oly you can miiss when you reach here if you dont have family here.

but my mom is old lady she dont have any property but yes she has bank account and she has very strong ties with family over here and even her doctor is over there she can not stay here with me for long.

I am new green card holder and i want to call my mother to visit me see my home and stay with me for few weeks or just a month. But i dont know that after how much time i can call my mom and can new green card holder can invite her parents to vist them . As my mom can not stay with me for long time because she has her family over there in Pakistan.My mom is 70 years old. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
