Hi all,

So our I-129F petition was approved at the California USCIS processing center on August 31st, and we got the notification saying that our case was being forwarded to the NVC. It has been over 2 weeks and the NVC won't say whether or not they have our case. My question is how long should this usually take? I don't see why it should take more than 10 days or so for the case to be sent from california to the NVC facility in new hampshire? Anybody have any info that can ease our minds a bit? My fiancé' is english and we are both king of sitting around without a clue about what the current progress is. Any help is appreciated.

My question is does anyone know how long it should take for the approval notice to get from the processing center in california to the embassy in London? i've read various time frames? Also how long do we have to wait for her interview after we get the approval notice?

Is there no other way to pay for it without having to send it off somewhere first? I heard about using an International Bank Draft?

Does anyone know how i can pay my I-129F if i don't have a check or money order? I have been living in the UK (from the states) for a few years now and don't have an american checkbook. I've tried calling the embassy as well as email and nobody has been any help. The instructions on the I-129F say to contact these places but those establishments sent me right back to the USCIS website. Basically i need to figure out how to pay for the I-129F from the UK where i still live. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
