I think we have similar timelines, they received my RFE packet July 07th and I'm still waiting for an interview. Where did you file?

I actually managed to get a sponsor. Hooray!!!!

Now my question is; about the sponsor. So I have the tax transcripts and a copy of her Id. Do I definitely need supporting documents with Tax transcripts? (W2) or will transcripts be sufficient? Another thing, is ID enough or does it need to be birth certificate or passport?

I know this might be a long shot but I thought i'd put it out there and see what people have to say.

So I came to the US in 2005 on a J-1 visa and overstayed, got married had kids and all lived happily ever after.... without Adjusting My Status. (until now)

In April I finally submitted everything that goes along with AOS, i-130, i-485, i-765. Everything has been going well up to this point RFE. Unfortunately hubby doesn't meet the income requirement.

We are having a hard time finding a joint-sponsor, so my question is: I work (off-the-books) but I have record of the money, bank statements etc. Would it be possible for me to use my own income, joint with my husbands to meet the income requirements? And then just pay the necessary taxes at the end of the year?

This might be a foolish question to some... but I thought i'd give it a try anyway.
