  1. Hello VJ members

Just an update my 3 children had their interviews on December 16 and was approved.

However my daughter became a Canadian citizen in November. And she now holds a Canadian passport.

Her DS-260 have her Guyanese passport number, and other documents submit to NVC.

At the interview I had to show her Canadian status and I show her CA passport.

The interviewer gave me back my daughter Guyanese passport and keep the Canadian passp.

ON December 18 in the morning we checked her Visa status and it showed ISSUED and in administrative processing, (same as my 2 sons).

On the same day in the evening her visa status changed back to READY.

But my 2 boys status shows ISSUED and is in final processing.

Should I worried that the change of my daughter passport make her visa delay, or have and problems.

I would like to know if this happen to anyone.

    Please give some advice's

    Thanks in advance..

  2. Hello VJ members

I did my kids medical same day as mine, which was October 6th. Before an interview date was schedule for them.

I had my interview on October 16.

I did all together to save time and taxi fair to go all the way to Toronto.

My husband got a call from NVC this morning and he mention that we had the kids medical done in October.

The rep suggest that we redo their medical. She is not sure if the embassy will accept it.

So my question is do we have to redo their medical or it will work?

Has anyone have any experience with this?

They have an interview date for 16th of December at Montreal.

    Thanks in advance

  3. Sorry I made a mistake we file in 24 June 2015 for the kids. Had their cases expedited at USCIS, because my case was already at NVC. Their case was approved in August 2015 by USCIS.

Started process at NVC in September 8 2015, and got completed on 2nd November 2015.

Yes it was pretty fast. They would have already get an interview date if NVC, didnt made a mistake and assign my daughter to the wrong embassy.

    Thank you very much :)

  4. He only filed for me, thinking that the kids will be derivative. I only knew we had to file separate application for each of us, until I was at the NVC stage. He filed for IR1 and IR2.

We filed for her on April 2015 and her case was completed on November 2nd 2015. We hoping she get interview date for December 2015.

  5. Hello VJ members I am hoping someone can share some experience or give any advice on this topic.

Well I got my US immigrant visa approved on the 16 of October 2015. I received my visa on 21 October 2015.

I was admitted in the US at CBSA on 22 October 20015, but I had to stay back in Canada, because my daughter is still waiting for an interview date.

My passport was stamped and I got an alien number.

I came to Canada March 2009 and in May 2014 I filed for Canadian citizenship.

I was asked at the test and interview to provide evidence of my physical stay in Canada, which I did.

Now just to be clear I was sure I would get my citizenship. Because I am a stay at home mom.

So in August 2014 my USC husband decide to file the I-130 for me.

    NOW

On 2 November 2015 I received my oath letter to appear at the oath ceremony, for myself and my 6 year old daughter.

I am not sure what will happen at the oath ceremony, because I have US immigrant visa stamped in my passport. Plus I was admitted into the USA at CBSA.

Can someone please advice on this matter.

    Thank you so much.
