I requested for the expedite of EAD on the 5th of October...I was sent an email on the 7th for proof...I sent the proof on the 8th...nothing came back on the mail...waiting for the decision.
This is the fax number I sent my proof to 816-251-2290, still waiting for the decision
816-251-2290 This is correct, for me it took 5 days to heard back, I faxed on 9/23 and got update on 9/29. Make sure you put Attn: LA0776, Div5 Tm1 on first page/cover, and I did put this on every single page.

Dear USCIS Officer:
This letter is the supporting document for the expedite service of Mr. XXX’s petition on his Employment Authorization Document (EAD).
Mr. XXX was offered the position of Civil Engineer at XXX at New York City, New York. The position started at 2013. The successful continuation of the job is dependent on the availability of Mr. XXX's EAD. He is responsible for government agency and private sector projects, which Mr. XXX has extensive experience and knowledge from his civil engineering study. His role is very value for the company. It is critical for us to have Mr. XXX continue working at XXX, P. C. The delay of Mr. XXX’s EAD will essentially affect the ongoing projects progress and cause projects delay which may eventually have considerable financial loss to XXX, P. C.
Altogether, XXX, P. C. needs Mr. XXX to continue the position without any unnecessary delay, and fully supports Mr. XXX's petition on the EAD expedite service.
The following is the information from Mr. XXX’s EAD application (I765), which might be needed in the process.

Congrats Leebeans, have a question for you here. After you responded EAD expedite how long it took to notice you weather you got approved or what, I recently requested as well and faxed the responses last week.
Thank you,

Hi, just wanted to share my progress and I have couple of questions:
We are early November 2014 filers and we finally got our interview date last Friday. The interview will be on October 21st in Jacob Javits Federal Building. Basically, it was a 10 month wait, instead of expected 3-6 months as we were told before. From what I understand, the field office in Queens was closed this past January, so all the files were sent to NYC field office, which dramatically affected the timing of the whole process.
Now I have couple of questions in regards of what we are supposed to bring with us for the interview:
In the letter it says to bring Medical Records and I-485 (unless previously submitted). We obviously submitted the documents back in November, do we still have to bring them with us? And do I need to get a medical exam again, considering that my last one was over a year ago? Thanks
Congrats on the interview, couldn't help with your question, call them asap.
Yes, the field office at LIC got flooded and the slow process became even slower... they should have acted on this since this past Jan, and all NYC filers are in pain. This is totally bs.
Good luck, keep up posted!

61 days from our NOA-1
I am a week after you, light the road out, congrats again
-
My husband's EAD and AP were approved today!!!!!!! =D
Big congrats! love to see the move for NYC filers! how many days it took since they received the package?
-
My thoughts exactly. Our lawyer told us 6-7 months :/
Pretty much, my attorney said 5-7 months... this is way way to much
-
Can't believe it takes this long to get interview in NYC, this is way to much, seems you guys had like 8-10 month waiting.
-
Just got my RFE mail...it states:
Submit all supporting tax documentation(W-2s,1099s,Form 2555,and all supporting tax schedules)submitted to the internal revenue service for the most recent tax year. The petitioner/sponsor's household member must submit all supporting tax documents for the most recent tax year.
What should I send?
Follow this, read the Instruction carefully and use the Checklist to give yourself a check after you done all paper works.
1. Form I-864 Instructions 07/02/15, link:http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864instr.pdf
2. CHECKLIST FOR PREPARING THE I-864, link:http://www.4uth.gov.ua/usa/english/travel/visa/checklis.htm
See if you have any joint sponsors, make sure you include their W-2, Tax Return forms.
Good luck!

Just had my green card interview! Got aproved! Everything went great and hardly any questions were asked. Very excited to be USCIS free for almost two years!
You just made the records, big congrats!

My EAD was finally approved yesterday, yaaaaaaaay! I suppose your husband should get his approved soon as well since we're both NYC filers and you guys filed just a little later than I did. Fingers crossed for you!
Congrats! good to see NYC filers got the move!
-
generally, how long it take to get EAD approved in NYC currently?
-
I've been a member here long enough to know that it's not something to worry about. I'm just curious! It's either the comingling, my military service or something completely different.
Yea I feel you, it's like something up in the air. Keep us posted!
-
Just got a case update... We will be receiving an RFE on our AOS. Not really surprised since we were rushing it to pretty much just get it in to get a case number so I could get Emergency AP. Still I thought we did a pretty good job on everything... Curious what the RFE is for!
Could you get an RFE for not enough comingling stuff? I don't know if that's more of the interview stage or if it's a requirement now. I know we send some in to be on the safe side and I was supposed to be put on his bank account but we ran out of time.
Don't worry, it might just be a easy fix. It is more of now, USCIS need more info from you, wait till the letter come and it will tell you what exactly you should mail back.
Good luck!
-
Congrats for all APPROVALS!
@Ksenia1985, you are making the records. good luck!
