  1. At least your I-129F is approved... We are still waiting for NOA2 from TSC!!! :(. According to USCIS, our case is in "Background Checks".... Is anyone else in a similar position, still waiting for NOA2?

We recently just got approved 9/3/2015 but originally filed 11/24/2014. We waiting 9months!. However, I'm totally confused on the next step. Currently putting together our other paperwork

  2. I hope so! Thank you guys

Don't quote me on this as I may be way off. When I got my expedite it stated that I should receive a decision or notice of further action within 45 days from the date the expedite was approved. One week later my petition was approved and sent to the Department of State. This could mean that you will see an approval notice or RFE within 60 days. But I could be completely wrong on that.

  3. Hi guys,

I received an email today from the USCIS in regards to the service request in put on 8/18/2015. it stated that; they received the service request and researched the status of our case and that they had to perform additional review and that is why it is taking so long. They said I should receive a decision or notice of further action within 60 days.

Has anyone received this before? How long did it take? What should I expect?

  4. So they finally changed the processing times on the website to Dec 21 and I am definitely out of normal processing times now. I placed an inquiry on the 13 of this month but of course it has not been assigned. Does the date change makes any difference? Is it a glimpse of hope?

I'm also out of the processing time as well, I called them yesterday to put in a service request. I really don't know what else to do. They said it will take another 30 days. I'm just really exhausted. I can't believe this is actually happening.

  5. I am a December filer (december 1) and even the December thread is pretty much quiet lol . Is there anyone else in this thread still waiting for NO2??

I'm still waiting for NOA2, they received my application NOV 24, 2014 I Believe I received the hardcopy few days later. I put in a service inquiry 30 days ago but no response. I checked online and it says it hasn't been assigned yet. I'm really scared!!

  6. Oh okay here I thought you were already scheduling an interview . Okay okay. No wahala. LOL

Quick question!! Can you fill out the DS-260 from any country or do you have be in Nigeria to fill it out. My fiancé and I will be going to Dubai to spend some with our family over there but we are expecting our NOA2 anytime from now.

  7. Go to the USCIS website and create a profile if you don't have one yet. Once you create a profile, you will see your case. Click on the case, and you will see towards the bottom of the case (Case History) the inquiries you've opened and whether is has been assigned to an officer for a response. I was told that the officer to whom the inquiry was assigned to is the same person working the case.

    Thank you

  8. I just called USCIS again to see if I can get an update. I was able to open a case last week and was able to check online today and saw that my case was assigned to an agent on the 14th, yesterday. I was told that TSC is given 30 days to respond to the inquiry, but TSC tries to respond within 15 days. If I don't hear back from them in 30 days, I was told to call. I also checked online to see if any updates have been made to the processing times website, but none. :(

Where do I go to check if my inquiry as been assigned. I opened an inquiry two weeks but they told I have to wait 30 days

  9. All.

I would like to say I'm overjoyed. Approved last night.

There is still much to be done following the many posts from others who have shared their approval status. To everyone still waiting. Be encouraged as your day is near.

I may never meet many of our November and early December filers. If you are in the Houston area. Perhaps, we can meet. Like a reunion of sort to meet others that have shared the journey with a celebration.

    Congrats
