I have a question,

I've been checking my I-485 case status to adjust status and it has been saying that our case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. I have not recieved an interview date yet. Yesterday I checked it, the status now says new card is being produced. we will mail to the address you provided etc.. What does that mean?

Oh yes! You can see this in my timeline. My EAD was approved on November 12th, 2015.

Omg we have the same timeline. Biometrics 10/6 and was approved on 11/12 and mailed it to me today 11/17 wohoo

So he's on a connecting flight and has checked in his luggage to his final destination? In that case, his suitcase is at the airport and will arrive with him on the same flight. If he hasn't boarded his final flight to the US yet, have him go to the check-in desk at the airport and tell them that he MUST retrieve his luggage. He just gives the little stub from the luggage tag that he was given when he checked in his bag, then the airline can retrieve the bag for him, he can take out his visa packet and then check in his bag again.

This will only happen though if it's at least an hour or so till boarding, so everyone's suitcases haven't already been loaded onto the plane.

He's been trying for 3 hours. All they've been telling him is to wait. His flight is in 30 mins now. Fingers crossed please pray for us that they'll bring him his luggage as they said.

Can't you just take his luggage and send the package back to him?

My fiancé put his sealed envelop in his luggage and it got shipped to NY. What's gonna happen once he reaches NY? He won't have it on him it's going to be in his luggage. Someone help me ! Has this happened to anyone before?

so my ceac status says issued. Does it mean visa already printed?
My embassy had a problem with the mrv payment that i made. so my fiance went a paid it in person at the embassy and they said he can pick it up when its ready. they are not going to mail it to him.
Should he go pick it up? or should we wait a little?

i had my interview on july 8th and ive been told my case is approved and that i will get a sealed package within a few days, and i just checked the CEAC website and it said "administrative process"... is it normal? or should i be worried?

My fiance was interviewed on July 8, we were missing one document so we got AP then he submitted it the next day so on the 16th our case switched to ready and the creation date also changed to July 16 on the ceac website.

However, the MRV fee did not go through! they never charged my credit card so the embassy called my fiance to tell him they never recieved a payment and visa cannot be printed unless its paid. they told him to go to the embassy on monday to pay it. I also know someone else who was interviewed on the 8th in jerusalem as well, and he had the same problem with the payment and he was approved on the interview day too. and they told him 3 people of that day have a problem with the payment. So make sure ur payment was made if not contact them instead of you waiting i guess.

So, my story goes like this:

I applied for my fiance for a k1 visa. Everything was going fine. we filled the DS 160 online and got the confirmation page. Then we were advised to log in to the jerusalem consulate website to pay the MRV fee of $265 and select the courier and scedule the interview. I did so, and i recieved a confirmation email for the everythingg including the payment i made.

My fiance was interviewed today and he was told that he is approved but needs to send them a paper that he didnt have with him at the interview. He was advised to send it with WASSEL the courier we selected. He went to them today after the interview with that paper, but they were not able to locate that he is registered.

The thing is, When i went to the website to register for the interview and pay the MRV fees, i went to the nonimmigrant website but i was not able to select the k1 visa type from the drop down window. So i went to the immigrant visa website and i registered using the same email i used at the Non immigrant website. from there i paid fees, and scheduled his interview.

When he went today for the interview, they were not able to his name in the list at first, then they looked at the emails we got as a confirmation and they made him go for the interview.

I also spoke to someone on the phone, they told me i cant use the same email for the immigrant and nonimmigrant websites. It has to be two different emails. But for some reason, when i registered using the same email it went through fine!

now when i try to log back in at the immigrant visa website, it takes me automatically to the nonimmigrant visa website to continue what i first started ( Where the k1 visa is not an option to select from the drop down window).

Also Surprisingly, My credit card was never charged the 265$ for some reason!

Also the courier is not able to see that he registered with them online!

This is confusing I dont know how all this happened. Im not sure what to do.

I tried to make a new account on the immigrant visa website using a new email address and pay the fee again, but it then asks me to schedule an interview date. BUt he was already interviewed today !

Did anybody ever experience such an issue??

my fiance left it with the doctor and he said he can only pick up the results no more than 3 days before interview date. So, try to go before ur interview date and see him.

Who gave u ur case number ? are you talking about the nvc number starting with JRS ( if ur interview will take place in Jerusalem)?
and whats ur invoice number ? is it different than the nvc. Am I missing sth? i only had an NVC # given by the nvc when my case was transfered to jerusalem.

Did you figure out? I scheduled my appointment for July 8 online after paying the fees. Is this appointment legit? Or we have to fill out the paper in paper in package 3 that days I've collected all required documents and send it to them in order for them to schedule me an appointment?

One more thing when it says 8:15 IDT does it mean 8:15 am or pm?

We just got a letter from NVC saying that our K1 is being forwarded from NVC to "US Embassy or Consulate in Unknown" and then at the bottom of the page it says:

Interview Location: UNKNOWN

US EMBASSY

BEIRUT, LEBANON

What the heck????!!!!!!! We are in Jerusalem. Israelis don't/can't travel to Lebanon.

Is this just a mistake? Trying to call NVC but the androgynous voice keeps talking about "large volume of calls"

This is quite scary news. I hope that it's nothing to get worked up about. Any insight? If NVC is as much of a ridiculous institution as USCIS I wouldn't put it past them sending our petition to Timbuktu!

I recieved the same thing but mine said Ukraine which is definitely not jerusalem. When i called the nvc they told me its on the way to jerusalem and thats strange that I recieved such an interview location in that letter. I emailed them too to be on the safe side I'll keep you updated if they reply back.

I have a question regarding the next step. What are we supposed to be doing right now? Do we have to fill out the affidavit of support ? and when do they see it? do we send it to them or they only see it on the interview date?

You need the I-134 for Manila. Instructions for Manila can be found on their consulate website. You will need the I-864 later for AOS after you are married.

NVC sends no instructions or packets to a K-1 applicant. Instructions and packets come from the consulate.

So how's the consulate going to recieve it? Do we send the income tax along with the affidavit of support to the consulate before interview date? or is it during the interview they ask to see it for the first time?
