  1. Hello everyone,

I am here on a K1 visa and i applied for adjustment of status just two months ago (without I-131, travel document in short).

I just realized i may have to travel to Poland to fix some challenges at a small business i left there.

Please does anyone here know if i can still apply for the I-131 and if yes will i have to pay or i can do so since my adjustment of status application is yet to be processed.

  2. If the beneficiary and petitioner have been married less than two years at the time the I-485 is approved then the beneficiary will receive what is called a "conditional" legal permanent residence. This simply means that the beneficiary will have to renew his/her greencard 2 years from the date it was originally "issued" by filing an I-751 to remove conditional status. When filing this form you will need to again show proof of your valid and ongoing marriage

  3. See lot of comments and opinions. The TRUTH is, how long have you been married? If its less than two years then he surely got the 2 years conditional green card and with that you can divorce and withdraw the petition and he cant be able to file for the 10 years. In this way you still have something to do but if he already been given a 10yrs Green Card then sorry you cant do anything about it.

    Goodluck

  4. hello everyone on VJ. i need some help about affidavit of support for a K1 visa. My current income is 30,000 a year since i work only few hours due to my master and CPA studies. Iast year i brought my mum and i used same income on her affidavit even though my dad was a co sponsor.

My question; will the 30,000$ still be enough for my fiance's affidavit since i already used it also for my mum? Do i have to get a co sponsor?

Thanks and your contributions are already appreciated !
