I suggest the RFE was probably a mistake cos its weird to be asking these sort of documents for an adjustment of status. If it was removal of condition that will be fine but not Adjustment of status. Anyway its best to contact them to be SOLIDLY sure !. Goodluck

You cant drive with the German license. Its only France and south Korea driving license accepted in the states as far as i know. But you may be waived for the computer test and will only have to pass the practical test.

You have to be a resident in Dubai so a visitor's visa will not be accepted. If you cant get your resident there, you can transfer your case to a US embassy in your home country. Just consult your home country's US embassy or that of Dubai for the process.

Hello everyone,
I am here on a K1 visa and i applied for adjustment of status just two months ago (without I-131, travel document in short).
I just realized i may have to travel to Poland to fix some challenges at a small business i left there.
Please does anyone here know if i can still apply for the I-131 and if yes will i have to pay or i can do so since my adjustment of status application is yet to be processed.

If the beneficiary and petitioner have been married less than two years at the time the I-485 is approved then the beneficiary will receive what is called a "conditional" legal permanent residence. This simply means that the beneficiary will have to renew his/her greencard 2 years from the date it was originally "issued" by filing an I-751 to remove conditional status. When filing this form you will need to again show proof of your valid and ongoing marriage

Can you please explain why i am wrong?
-
No, if the guy got 2 years conditional permit, he will need her to apply for the 10 yrs. That is the truth

See lot of comments and opinions. The TRUTH is, how long have you been married? If its less than two years then he surely got the 2 years conditional green card and with that you can divorce and withdraw the petition and he cant be able to file for the 10 years. In this way you still have something to do but if he already been given a 10yrs Green Card then sorry you cant do anything about it.
Goodluck

hello everyone on VJ. i need some help about affidavit of support for a K1 visa. My current income is 30,000 a year since i work only few hours due to my master and CPA studies. Iast year i brought my mum and i used same income on her affidavit even though my dad was a co sponsor.
My question; will the 30,000$ still be enough for my fiance's affidavit since i already used it also for my mum? Do i have to get a co sponsor?
Thanks and your contributions are already appreciated !
Asking about RFE for my Green Card?
in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas

Adjustment of status is the first application for green card after entry with K-1 visa, normally you are given 2 years Green card if your marriage is less than two years old and removal of condition is filing to extend the expiration of your first two years Green Card to get a 10 years permanent status.
