My sister had her Interview in Vietnam since 3 June but from now I haven't received my visa.My status is Processing status

Do anyone get your visa or ISsUse status yet?

No worries! You just need SRC for DS-160. You will need a case number, though for rest so keep calling the NVC and asking for it until they give it.

Be polite, but a little pushy, and just say you really just want the case number (because, honestly, i got my case number a month ago from them on the phone and just got the letter with it from NVC like 2 days ago).

They will know if the packet has left. Once it is in the system (you won't have a case number until it is), hypothetically you should be able to use the CEAC tracking system, however, a lot of us haven't been able to access it until it arrives at the embassy and they process it, so just depends.

For now, call and get your case number (like people have been saying, you really need patience for this part, can take AGES to get through)

You should call NVc at 7am early morning to get through.The system was error now.so if anyone had case number already then after some days you should email to Us consulate and ask them to send you the Instruction package.Same as me they emailed me the Package 3 today.Then I can fill Ds160 and do the next step .

Email them and ask them to email you the packet 3. It's what I did.

I paid my visa fee and booked my interview as soon as I found out what my case number was, which was about a week ago. Granted, I got an email from my embassy saying they can't interview me if they haven't received my case, but they let me keep my date. So I've had it for about a week and the embassy received my case today.

My case was sent to Embassy since 5 June but I haven't heard any information from them.

Should I do same your track to not delay interview day?

Soonest interview day is 13 August here in Vietnam .If I wait for package 3 arrive my address then The day will drag to September.

Every embassy has it's own requirements, but I'd be really surprised if it wasn't one. It's not listed in the Packet 3 at all?

It's *really* easy to fill out either way.

Even I haven't got 3 Package or Update "ready to interview "???

How is your track before Booking interview?

Select the "Immigrant" category when you enter your case number! If your case in being sent to HCM, then the status would say "In Transit". But they don't update the status very often, I think! My case already reached HCM and fiancee already received Package 3, but CEAC still says "In Trasit".

I don't need to wait Package 3.it will take long time and sometime lost too.

In your original post you stated that your case was sent to the consulate June 5th. I'm assuming you called the NVC and or got a reply via mail with your case number. If it has left the NVC email the consulate in HCMC at the link in my previous post and they can confirm this. They will usually reply within 24 to 48 hours.

Bz I cannt check my case status on CEAC right now so I confused and unsure for my case number Until I received 3 Package from Consutale .

This is what I did, before we got packet 3. We filled out DS-160, we registered at UStraveldocs and paid the visa fee. I emailed the consulate here, http://hochiminh.usconsulate.gov/mobile//contact/ivinquiries.html, they told me they had recieved our file, as soon as they confirmed they recieved it my fiancée scheduled her interview. I based that on recent others getting there packet soon after the consulate recieves it. I emailed the consulate again a week later and they sent me package 3. Then she mailed the DS-160, passport photos and copy of her passport to the embassy. Hope this helps.

I want to do the same your way but Im unsure my case was correct even my fiancé make call NVC for 3 times.

I have checked Immigration too but " no return data" Maybe I wait for several days more for Consulate update our case first.Can I fill out DS 160 before they update and sent me Instruction Package?

I would like to have my interview On August.

I called and got the case number from NVC and completed the ds-160 the day after. Depending on your country specifics it may be possible that not everyone can move forward with completing the ds-160 but I was and there where no issues in fact by doing so the embassey just automatically emailed us packet 3. If I did not they would have mailed packet 3 which would have delayed us about 2 additional weeks.

Can you check your case status on CEAC page by that case number after got it from NVC Calling.?

I cannt even check my case.It always show" Invalid ID" or No return Data"

Make me stress so much with this very long process

I tried to email the NVC several times, no response. I did call and they have us our case number. There seems to be quite a wait at HCMC for interviews. If you want to help speed your process up. You can call the NVC and get your case number so you can register at UStraveldocs so you can pay your visa fee so you can get your interview appointment set as soon as you can.

My case was sent to Consulate since 5 June but right now I haven't received any information from them.I have called them at this morning to ask them about my case but they checked out case number not return data.

I try to enter my case number on CEAC page but " no return" too

You guy can check status by case number on that page before reaching Vietnam,didn't you?

It's under immigrant. U can check the HCM #

But when I enter my case number under Immigrantion .it saied "no return any data"

I supposed that I can check my case until Consulate receive and update them.?

Hello everyone.

I knew this thread for long time ago but I just have registered this page now.

I need some advises from you guys.My case was approved on June 18 and was sent to Consulate on 5 June too..I already had my case number but when I try to check my case status in CEAC then It said in red line"invalid " with Nonimmigration and "No return any data "with immigration.

Does anyone have same my situation?

My fiancé have called NVC again and was given the same case number(?????)it mean my case is correct.

So is K1 considered an immigrant visa as far as CEAC goes? When I put the case number in I only get "no data returned" whereas if I put down the DS160 confirmation number under non-immigrant visa, it says "no status".

I put my case number In Nonimmigration visa then I got "Invalid Application ID or Case status" I try to put in Immigration visa,It show " no data return" I really so stress for this processing.I had been waited for long time for my case approval (8 months +10 days).I thought next step would be faster and smoother but this was make me more nervous..Hope all September files get over this very long process

Hi everyone.I just knew this thread and need some advises from you guys.My case was approved since May 18,2015.My fiancée called NVC and ask my case number and they talked our case was Sent to Embassy in Vietnam already from 5 June,2015.But when I checked my status at CEAC and in Red Box" Invalid Application or Case number".I really confused about that and ask my fiancé calling NVC one more time to make sure the correct case number.Other lady Of NVC gave my husband same case and telled my husband waiting Consulate procseing.

Does anyone have experiences about that?
