We all were banking on something similar. We all are losing something because of this glitch but...
it's good to remember that we all waited soooo long already. When the day comes, the reward will be so worth all the heartache. ?

I understand because my flight is scheduled for the 23rd. Hahaha... ?

He took a calculated risk... as we all do from time to time. I'm sure your comment doesn't ease the pain of losing a grip load of money.

There was a problem with the biometric system... Hardware issue. So, the biometrics are sent after your interview. They can't authorize a printing of a visa until you are entered into the database, unfortunately. ?

Check the status of the visa on the website. The status should flip from "ready" to "issued" if it was successful. They also indicated that if you interviewed on or after the 9th of June there will be a possible delay.

If it makes you feel better, I dished out $600 for plane tickets (non-refundable) because the interviewer told us two weeks... Yeah. I know. I was excited. I'll be eating that loss. ?

That's awesome for you two! My fiancée had her interview the day that they had the glitch. The interviewer still told her 2 weeks... before or after the glitch or maybe before they were aware? We might get that email or might not. The suspense is killing me. Arrrrgg

I'm in the same boat. My fiancée just completed her interview on 06/09/2015 then we saw the message on the consulate's website this morning. It says there may be a possible delay as of 06/11/2015 but there was no news about the US Systems Hack slowing the immigration sector. Keep me updated about the status of the delivery... possible delays on your delivery could be caused by all the Colombian holidays in June.

I just checked mine. It is the same status: "ready".
