  1. My fiance had to take a dna test. You can look at my signature for a an idea of how long it took.

Hello there, thanks for the heads up. I'm glad you are reunited with your husband. :D

I went to the interview with my husband and the baby and the very next day we took the DNA tests. We're still waiting and haven't had any kind of response. The CEAC website says the same thing, that it's under "Administrative Processing", only the status updated date is July 17th.

Every day that passes and I awake I'm hoping today is going to be the day....It's got to be closer than ever before. We'll keep waiting...

    Thanks again!

  2. Thanks everyone for your responses.

Yes, they did take his passport.

I attempted to call the lab and they wouldn't even try to look into our file and said if we took the tests there, they would have sent them within ten business days. We actually took the test on May 27th.

I looked back and realized that I did put in an inquiry at support-dominicanrepublic@ustraveldocs.com on June 17th and they said I needed to check on the https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC/ website under “Immigrant”, click “Check My Visa Application Status” for case status. Every time I go in there it says it's under "Administrative Processing".

I guess we'll have to be patient and wait some more.

    ...the saga continues... :clock:

  3. I am a US Citizen born in NY of Dominican parents. My husband who lives in the Dominican Republic, and I have been married three years in September and we have a 1 and 1/2 year old together. I petitioned for him four years ago (2012) with a fiancé visa and were rejected. We then married in September and filed for I-130 in April the next year (2013). After all kinds of fun (being sarcastic) delays we finally had our interview on May 26th, 2015 where, after 27 trips to the Dominican Republic for me and 6 for our son, his approval is pending DNA testing, but not just for him and our son, but also for me and our son. This is fine because there are no doubts. It's been over 8 weeks since we took the DNA test and each time I log into the CEAC website, it says the case is in "Administrative Processing". I've sent a letter to my congressman and they say they've put in an inquiry. Does anyone have any experience with this DNA testing? How long is this supposed to take?
