Hello everyone! So, my wife and I are going through a company ( I know you mention you can do this solo, but this is for our peace of mind!) and we are almost finished with the process except for my addresses/employment for the last 5 years.
I called the company, to ask about the Physical Address, and the Mailing Address.
Currently I live in South Korea with my wife (who is Russian) and will be moving back to the states in about 3 months.
The company says that it is BETTER to use my American Address for both, the Physical and Mailing Address. They say to just use the current month (June 2015) and input my American Address, even though I still currently live in South Korea. Then, use my current address the previous month before (May 2015 - whenever, and so on).
My question to you wonderful people is; is this okay to do? I don't like lying on paper, and I'm not sure if this is indeed lying or just stretching the truth to make the process easier? My worry is that I work abroad as an English teacher and that is where I make my wages.
If this is anything helpful, the last two years I did file my taxes in the states. I believe that has some sort of importance in the process as well.
