My AP was approved on August 17. Today is August 24 and I still haven't received it in the mail. Since I don't really know what to expect from USCIS anymore, this is freaking me out. How long does it usually take to get the AP on the mail after its approval?

I filed for AOS and recently got a RFE for my birth certificate. In the letter, they wrote "You are ineligible for interim employment authorization pursuant to Title 8, Code of Federal Regulations, Section 103.2(B)(10)(ii) until ninety(90) days after the missing initial evidence is received.". From what I could understand, I'm not allowed to work until 3 months after I send them the missing evidence. The problem is, when I arrived (on a K-1), I made the mistake of applying for an EAD BEFORE GETTING MARRIED (man I wish I knew this website before doing a lot of things), and it took more than 90 days to get a response from them. So I set up an infopass appointment and got an EAD valid until Feb 2007. Is my EAD worthless after getting the RFE? Could I get in trouble for trying to work using this EAD?

BTW, That happy face wasn't in their letter. I don't know how it got there.

Ok guys, I'm living in Boston and I was supposed to go to my biometrics appointment on this last Saturday at 8am. Somehow I got confused and was absolutely sure that I was supposed to go on Monday. On my way to the biometrics office I realised the stupid mistake I had made. On my appointment notice they have this creepy message saying that if I fail to show up at the scheduled time and day my application will be considered abandoned. I REALLY don't want to file for AOS again because of such a stupid mistake. What should I do?

I'm in the Boston area, and I've called a few doctors about transfering the info froM my DS-3025 to a I693-A. All of them told me they only do the full exam(and they all charge over 200 bucks for that). Did anyone in the Boston area have any success in finding a helpful surgeon?

Is visiting relatives a good reason to apply for AP? I'm on a K-1 visa and I really miss the folks back home. Is there also a way to get the AP before the 60 day period? Does it have to be an emergency?

Hiya guys, I'm on a K-1 Visa, and I got married on March 31st. I'm filing for AOS now. However, the stamp on my I-94 allowed me to stay on the country until April 2nd. Now I have no documents stating that I can stay legally in the country. What should I do?
