did they return your passport to you while on AP and how long were you placed on AP?

Prior to that, I did my daughter's CRBA and passport interview on December 9th in banjul. A DNA was requested which sample collection is scheduled for january 20th 2016.

Could the pending DNA be the reason behind my AP?

Has anyone ever been in this situation before?

I did my k1 interview December 30th 2015 in dakar, everything went smoothly and the councillor asked me to pick the visa the following tuesday, to my surprise my passport was instead returned to me and I was told my case is now under administrative processing which was rather dissapointing and they promised to call me whenever they have finalised thing.

Prior to my interview, I did my daughters and passpprterview in banjul wpasspprtbanjulas december 9th and a DNA Was requested for which sample collection will be done January 20th 2016. Could this be the reason behind my AP?

Has anyone ever been in this situation before?

Hello everyone, I went for my k1 interview December 30th 2015 in Dakar, councillor approved my visa and asked me to collect the visa the following tuesday which I went for and I was told my case is put on administrative processing and my passport was returned to me with a promise that they will call me when they are done with my case. I also did my daughter's CRBAMy and passport interview on the 9th of December and a DNA was requested which we are working on, our appointment for the sample collection is january 20th 2016.

COULD THAT BE THE REASON FOR PUTTING ME ON Administrative Processing?

Hello everyone, an a november 2014 filer, my fiance received a letter from the uscis. that we need to send more documents to the relationship. We have waited for ages already, I hope it wouldn't take us much longer to get approved after sending them those dodocument . Its so frustrating
