My interview is in second week of September new delhi usa embassy????

We have a CC on July 22nd, notified in email on July 29th and are awaiting our interview date for our CR1. Anyone with similar dates? It could come anytime. I get different answers every time I call the NVC. The last person, Joshua, said that they will schedule at the end of the month. I do see trends to confirm that and they were scheduling on T, TH, and Fridays (I noticed as a trend) until the last couple of months were I see all random dates, Not sure where we are in the queue but we feel and cancellation could happen and any of us could be scheduled any day now.

Its really not easy to keep patience.....

That list is nothing new.. and not very informative as it doesn't break out interviews by visa type, like mumbai does.

It'll be awesome if we get September interviews, but at this stage I'll take October too.

Still we can't get September list because nvc still scheduling interview dates for September....once done then we may get it..

Bro my cc is july 22. Still waiting for interview But i called to nvc yesterday. I was told still scheduling interview dates for September, so hoping our names would be in September or October list...

even ek mahina is a torture after waiting 10 months for a cc

manu its typically taking 2-3 months for delhi interview.

a user with cc april 28 got her interview date for aug 18. she was told on july 14, so you can kind of trend how bad it is at delhi

As my Timeline shows, I had case complete August 13 after two months at NVC. Now, like many others, we are awaiting an Interview to be scheduled at New Delhi, which I hear is a 2/3 month wait. I really, really, hope it's much faster than that, but time will tell.

hello to everyone please I need help about nvc, I submit all documents to nvc since 2 January 2015 all till now still waiting for interview at embassy consulate Lagos Nigeria when I call nvc they say I should have be receive appointment mail nvc are saying thisfor more than a month now, please what should I do??

It's perfectly ok to send all these documents to NVC prior to filing DS-260. Many have done so. Those documents must be under review now. However, you are always give NVC a call just to make sure that everything is okay, but Im darn sure that its ok.

How many days nvc takes to review civil documents because they told me 30days so 31days gone already even i made call to nvc they told soon ur will complete but still didn't complete my case what do u think?

Yes, and it just says that my case was received on On May 29, 2015, and that they have mailed out a receipt notice that describes how they will process our case. They said if we have not received our receipt notice by June 28, 2015, to please call Customer Service.

Hi Everyone,

I submitted my wife's IR-1 application earlier this year (February), and have just received the NOA1 so far, so am very early in the process.

I was looking ahead in the process, and was wondering if it is too early to have my wife apply for the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC). My wife has lived in India all her life, so I am assuming she can just apply for the PCC. As I understand it, the validity of the PCC is 1 year from the date of issue.

A couple of questions I had about the PCC:

1. Can my wife apply to get the PCC independent of the IR-1 process timeline? That is, does she need to show an NOA2 doc or visa appointment letter to be able to apply for the PCC? Or can she apply whenever? I was hoping we'd get this out of the way sooner rather than later, so that it would be one thing that could be taken care of.

2. My wife did not update her passport to reflect her new marital status after marriage, and my name is not in her passport. However, my name would be on the PCC application form. Would this be a problem? Has this been a problem for any of you?

Bro im from india my wife has applied for me immigrant visa (IR1) and almost process is on end.. so we have faced this process you may ask any question...

1. Tell to your wife she doesn't need to apply for pcc now because its too early she should apply for pcc after 5 or 6 months.

2. She must add ur name on her passport its really compulsory???
