  1. My wife was interviewed on January 12th, 2017, she was asked to submit more documents such as (I-864A contract between joint sponsor and household member) and a copy of proof of citizenship for joint sposers household member as well as a copy of joint sponsor's w-2 form.

She was put on Administrative Processing on 12th when I checked her case status on Ceac website after her interview, but after We submited all requested docs along with her passport and printed currier receipt on a very next day on Jan 13th 2017 I checked the status again few hours after we sent docs and status was changed from AP to Ready (your case is  ready for your interview when scheduled...)

dont really know what that means, it has made both of us so worried. Its still says ready after few days.

Btw we submitted additional docs on Friday afternoon, Saturday&Sunday they were closed as well as Monday which it was Martin Luther King, Jr.) day

please share your experience if you have seen this kind of situation before or know someone who have. We are not sure if she's getting her visa or what will happens. They still have her passport and no updates since Friday Jan 13th

  2. I've question about my financial situation, so I tried to fill out AOS form, then realized I have to include my tax transcripts for past three years as well as proof of my income. I haven't made much money last three years, but im in great standing with my current job, its only been 7 months since I started working for this company and ive already made more than $40k, I have all proofs of my income. My question is do I still need to get a joint sponsor because of my 3 previous tax returns OR I can be the only sponsor by myself and a letter from my company and some evidence of my income would be enough?

I appreciate all of your advices

  4. So I have filed I-130 form for my wife. Our case is at NVC now, the gave us a case number few days ago and also sent both of us an email regardin the check list and documents that we have to submit. My question is Do each of us have to submit these forms separately and send it over to the NVC or only one of us has to do all the forms? And if you could tell me what ducuments needs to be submitted that would be great. We already have chosen our agent and paid AOS fee. But i havent send any forms yet. Thanks

  5. Our case has been put under administrative processing for over 6 months now since my finances interview which was on Oct. 2015 we haven't heard anything from USCIS/NVCC/DOS/..they told us it could take up to 6 months for them to notify us, but still no status. So i thought maybe its better to for me to go back to her country and get married there then file for CR1. but i'm not sure if that helps our processing time. We already married now and our case still pending.. This long distance is about to kill both of us..we both suffer from being so far away from each other for over 1 year now..

If Anyone has experienced such situation please share it and those who have knowledge about this type of cases please give us some advises, we would be appreciated.

  6. so after four months waiting since our case was put for administrative processing and forwarded back to USCIS and recommended fro revoke from embassy of Yerevan, Armenia, now I decided to withdraw our I-129f case and go back to my country to marry my fiance and then apply for CR1 visa. I just need a sample letter of withdrawing a K1 visa application. if anyone could help I would be appreciate. Thank You

  7. So after my finace's interview in Oct.2015 she got a refusal letter from embassy. The case was sent back to USCIS for further reviews. its been 4 months since then, and as I've heard USCIS wont respond anything until the case will get expired and then they send a letter stating that this case has been expired but you may apply again if you want to. In this case I dont want to wait another six months for nothing and I'd like to withdraw this case and go back to my fiance's country to marry her then apply for CR1. would this be possible? if so

1-so How long dos it take for our K1 case to be withdraw?

2-And how long the CR1 takes to get approved and reach the embassy again?

If you think this is not the best way please state your reasons, and if you think its the right thing to do please share your experience. Thank You So Much

  8. We are all still waiting for NOA2, you're in the same boat as many of us. Jump on over to the December filers thread and chat with us. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/576918-december-2015-i-129f-filers-edited-title/

Actually we have been through this process I think. My fiance had her interview on October 2015, but the interview didnt go so well and she was put under administrative processing, we also got a refusal letter, from the counselor of Armenia. by the way Im a JUN filer.

  9. There was an update on my fiance's case on USCIS website. stating that On December 28, 2015, the Department of State sent us your case, Receipt Number WAC**********, for review. We are reviewing it, and will notify you by mail when we are done. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go towww.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Did any of you have to go through anything simillar?. If so, please post your experiences.

  10. Hello everyone.

As I have mentioned in my previous topics my finace's I-129F got Approved by USACIS but unfortunately interview didnt go well and got refused by the CO at US Embassy in Yerevan, Armenia on Oct, 27th. and the application was sent back to USCIS for further actions. So im filing a new I-129F for her because I know the previous one will be expired anyways before they review it again. But here I have a problem with question number 14 which is says: Have You Ever Filed For This Or Any Other Alien Fiance, Or Husband/Wife Before?

if you answered YES provide the following for each alien.

    14e. Date Of Filing

    14f. City or Town

    14g. State

    14h. Result

what do I write for the date, city, state, and the result? is it the date that I-129F got approved by USCIS or the date that they received it?

also does it talk about my city and state that i live in or the center that the application got approved in? and for result will it be Approved or Refused? it got approved by USCIS in California Service Center - Laguna Niguel, CA and got refused by U.S. Embassy in YEREVAN ARMENIA. im a little confused here. Fiance and I are experiencing a very difficult time now, we know it will take us another 5-6 months at least to repeat these processes again :( please share with us if you have any other advises that might help our case in such situation. THANK YOU AND WE ARE REALLY APPRECIATE .

  11. Thank you and your husband so much Sarak_7272 I rally appreciate your sympathy. Im doing my best here to be with my fiance, no matter where at! but since we have done so many paperworks and paid for all the fees, flight tickets and stuff we dont wanna just leave it like this and give up! plus if we do they might think that they were right! we are gonna show them what a true love can do, I will fight for until I everything is fixed! And I will do anything I mean ANYTHING to make this right..The only thing that makes me sad is seeing that my love lives far away from me..I dont wanna be so dramatic but we are honestly in love with each other, and thats all matters.

  12. Thank you all for your great comments and advises. So yes my fiance said that during the interview everything was going well until the officer asked her about my collage's name, she said i couldn't remember your collage name and I told the officer the same thing but he thought I was lying the whole time. she said after that they were placing too much unnecessary stresses to that answer and then became over emphasized about it and started telling me that I was lying. she said me they told her few times and threatened her that (do you know if you lie about any of these answers you will never be able to go to USA for any kind of reasons such as marriage, studying, work purposes and etc..tell us the truth we know you are lying) :I excuse my language but #######?

How could they thread her like that? why would she lie about such thing? seriously is this a joke?? we are in love and have so many plans for our future and kids! but they're trying to ruin everything because of an officer who probably didn't had a good time at home a night before the interview. Why would she come here for immigration purposes??? what does the united states have done for us? I have been here for six years and a half now what I have done is just work! paid hundreds of dollars like any other foreign people to USCIS untill I got my citizenship..have paid too much taxes to the IRS..I still dont have a health insurance, so what are the benefits of being an immigrant here in the U.S. that people wanna move here so badly?

I SWEAR TO GOD IF IT WASNT ABOUT ME AND IF IT WASNT LOVE BETWEEN US SHE WOULD NEVER THINK ABOUT COMING TO THIS COUNTRY! BECAUSE SHE IS A FAMILY PERSON, SHE LOVES HER FAMILY AND ITS SO HARD FOR HER TO LEAVE THEM, BUT SHE WANTS ME MORE THAN ANYTHING AND I WANT HER THE SAME WAY. THIS IS IT!!! IS THIS SO HARD FOR AN OFFICER TO UNDERSTAND WITH ALL THAT PROVES OF RELATIONSHIP THAT WE PROVIDED TO THE EMBASSY? LIKE ALL THAT PICTURES, PHONE BILLS, VIBER SCREEN SHOT...I dont know what else to say :(

Im sorry I didnt want to right this much im just so upset maybe thats the reason..good luck everyone

  13. this is unbelievable :(( we have been made a lot of plans for our wedding and stuff, this is so unfair that they refused my fiances visa for some bs reasons..what we do now :( im losing my hope gradually...if they dont give her a visa im gonna need to leave this country for ever and go back to my fiance which I love her from the bottom of my heart.
if you have any advises please let my know. im trying to contact my senator and go to his office right now. I have also attached a copy of the refusal worksheet..

Your case is administratively closed. Consular officers apply a “reasonable person standard” when evaluating the bona fides of claimed spousal, fiancé and other relationships. These facts would convince a reasonable person that the claimed relationship is a sham entered into solely for immigration purposes and to evade immigration laws (or is otherwise invalid). Therefore, the reviewing officer has decided that the petition should be returned to the USCIS with the recommendation that it be revoked. When USCIS receives the returned petition, they will contact the petitioner, who will have an opportunity to rebut consular findings concerning this case. If USCIS revokes the petition, beneficiary will become eligible for a visa under section 212(a)(6)©(i) of the Act. If USCIS reaffirms the petition, the petition will be returned to post for further processing.

Copy of the refusal sheet is attached.

  14. So here is what happened, everything was just perfect until the day of finances interview. she had interview on Oct 27th, the interview was done but all she got was just a blue sheet regarding that we need to provide additional documents, within a week we collected every documents that they asked for including her passport and dropped it into the mail box in embassy at Yerevan,Armenia.

The day after she was contacted by the embassy, she said that they handed her passport to her with no visa issued on it..she also said that they didnt explain anything but said that they will contact her by email if they need anything. I checked the status of her visa online and saw this message Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted...

Does anyone have had the same situation before? If yes please let me know what happened after, did you got your visa finally? how long did this process took? Because We are worried too much about this situation here..we've been waiting for a long time for her visa and have made so many plans for our wedding..Can you guys please tell me how long will this takes again? is there any hope? what are the possibilities now? thank you and I really appreciate your replies.

  15. So my fiancé had her interview on Tuesday Oct, 27th, but all she got after 3 hours inside the embassy was just a blue sheet saying that she needs some additional documents such as the original birth certificate, the original I-134,federal tax return from the petitioner which is me and some copy of our passports. she wasn't happy at all when she was out, he said that they asked too many unnecessary question, and she also said that they were saying that this relationship isn't true. How could they say that by having all this necessary documents which include photos phone bills, chats.. everything.. I have came here to Yerevan just to see my fiance after 8 months and now this is happening... I'm getting worried a little bit. How could two people do such things if they aren't in love! have anyone had such an experience or do you guys have any advise what will happen next?? thank you, we are having such a hard time here at Yerevan

  16. My fiancè has her interview with U.S. consulate at Yerevan, Armenia in next few weeks, but unfortunately she have lost her Original Iranian birth certificate which is one the required document for the Embassy, it takes few months for Record Office to issue a duplicate copy of a lost BC, so she probably wont have her BC in had during her interview. But good news is we have an official translation of her birth certificate. So does anyone knows if the U.S. consulate will accept her official translated birth certificate instead of her original BC or not? We would be appreciate if we get some help here. THANK YOU ALL

  17. i have got a letter from NVC on Aug 17th saying that they have received my approved i-129f and they forwarded it to the U.S. embassy. do i need to contact to the embassy to see whats going on or i can just fill out the DS-160 application form and then pay the fees and schedule an interview appointment online? and does anyone knows usually how long would it take for the embassy to give us an appointment date? will there an appointment be available within a month or so? And by the way my application is in YEREVAN, ARMENIA

  18.
