Happened to me too but it was for CR1 and they sent it back to be united with the K3 application I also filed. Then sent back the NVC when both i-130 and k3 were together.

Interview went good with a hiccup. The interviewer said your hard part is done but my income wasn't enough to support. So we needed a i-864 and a i-864a to submit to the office. Luckily I was able to get everything ready in time for her to submit it on the same day. They took all the documents and her passport too but did not say she was approved. Now I'm very nervous and don't know what to expect.

Anyone know a average time frame that the NVC will send the paperwork to the embassy after the IL?

Got my P4 today too. Interview date April 4th Mumbai Embassy.

Just called NVC and my interview is scheduled for April 4th. Will confirm again once i get email.

Just called NVC and they told me March was closed for Interviews at the Mumbai embassy so now I am waiting to get into April hopefully.

Just called nvc and they said my paperwork is still there that they are waiting till the U.S. Embassy in Mexico lets them know what dates are open for interviews. Gosh I hope they soon find out!!! I want to get mine soon.

Guys, NVC just has told me I have Interview Date! It`s March 14th, CC was Nov 24.

You can schedule all you want nothing will happen. Imagine you are scheduling for an interview that NVC doesn't know about and they have your case file. No case file at interview no interview most times and definitely not a Visa.

Our category of Visa going through NVC we don;t have access to the calendar. The embassy does have the capability to open it up to our category because I know of expedites and DCF that get to schedule their own.

It's a question I have asked and written to Department of State about for 4 years trust me on that.

I have a dumb question. Why cant we just go to ustraveldocs.com and schedule our own appointment after CC from NVC? Has anyone or know of anyone that has done this before and if so what happened?

Hi...I was just looking at your timeline and was curious. NVC received your case, you got your case number, IIN and submitted your DS-261 all in the same day? Which also allowed you to pay your AOS fee the very next day?

Actually I wasn't sure when NVC received my case, I had forgotten. I just put the date that I got my case number and such. Wasn't sure to leave to blank or put a date in there.

Mistake on my part I sent them in on 12/22. I fixed this on my timeline.

Any clue how long i have to wait to IV fee amount to show up that I can pay IV fees? I am done with AOS fees, but IV fee amount doesnt show any amount yet..

Mine took about two weeks. But I've seen people getting it in a week or so. I suggest call the NVC to have them review Ds-261 over the phone.

AOS and IV packets were undelivered by USPS this morning....being the weekend and all .....so i suppose they'll retry the next business day (Tuesday)....another set back of a few days.....*sigh*

Same thing happened to me. I sent my package and they tried to deliver on Saturday but no go. Got there the following business day.

Paid my IV on Thursday Jan 7 but still saying in process

I am somewhat in the same situation. I got my approval on Aug 31st but DOS sent it back to USCIS for further review and may take up to 180 days. That's what USCIS says.

I truly agree with aijaykoro its very frustrating at this point.

Call nvc case states

I called them and they said they don't have the case in their system. This is very confusing because I don't know whats going on.

Today I get an update from USCIS that my case has been sent to the DOS and then 3 hours later i get another update that DOS sent my case to USCIS for review. Anyone know why or whats going on. I am very confused. Someone help.

I got approved on Aug 31. I am a TSC filer. Just the NVC hasn't received my case yet.

You will have the barcoded cover sheet after you pay the fees.

After you have paid your AOS fee, you can print out the barcoded sheet or have it emailed to you to print out later.

As I have read on numerous threads, you can send both AOS and IV packet together and use the AOS barcoded sheet for both even before you get to pay the IV fee.

U can send aos and iv packet after submitting aos fee

Use that as cover sheet for iv too .. This will save some time

Or u can wait to pay iv fee and send aos and iv packet together

The NVC welcome letter I received by email included a document cover sheet with both financial items and supporting documents on it. I think you can prepare all of the documents and send them in even before paying the AOS fee...I'm wishing I had thought to do it that way instead of stupidly waiting for the fees to become invoiced on the site! Don't wait for the fees, just send it all in.

yes you can and should send in the documents before paying the iV fee and filling out DS-260 immigration form. there are 2 parts on the NVC process . One is paying the fees and filing out the form. The other is reviewing of your documents. If the NVC is not backup .they estimate 30 days to review documents. if you send in before Iv fee is paid The NVC will be reviewing your documents while you are doing the rest of the process. If you wait till after,then you have at least an extra 30 days of waiting for case complete.

Also on the wiki page it says to include the barcoded cover page from payment portal for each AOS and IV package. Will this be available before I pay the fees?
