Tiff pls dont be too certain.I had a legal engagement in my culture.Not all cultures in ghana are the same.Plus we didnt exchange any marriage rite.Has I said,I have read all that u suggest.My engagement is not qualified as marriage in my culture.

1) How long to intend to stay in the USA after your wedding?
2) Why do you want to have the wedding in the USA?

I am a little confuse with what to say for question 2 if I should be asked since you think my response is a would raise red flag.

Ok.So what u suggest be the reasons.Is it ok should I limit myself to the reason that the family wish for us to have it in the us.Reasons that the cant fly to Ghana and bcos the engagement was in Ghsna they want to host the wedding in the us.I need help on this please

I proposed to my fiance in Ivory coast in April 2014 while we were on visit which she accepted.I then formally introduced her to my family when we returned Unfortunately there was little tome so she left for home.However my family contact her family to get their support and also sent someone to meet her father in the us in July 2014.After that I sent her the ring in August 2014 to signify the official acceptance.She returned in November 2014 and we had a party with family and a few friends. However we filed in September and now I hve my interview in a month time.I have two worries,I tried visiting in on two occasion in may and june 2014 for B2 visa but denied.In those applications I filed her as my friend.Will that cause my problems in my interview

For Q3. Is it just ok to limit myself to the reasons that is it the wish of my fiance and family for the wedding to b conducted in the Us.And also since weddings are organized in the womans domain in my culture?

For Q2 what I meant was,my fiancee and I hve a long term plan to live in Canada or returning to my home country for permanent stay after our son is done with high school which is in 5yrs time.

But we have engagement proceedure my tradition.It when the families meet to notify each other of their wards intention and there isnt much celebration during that time.

Hi,There are these questions I see about the K-1 visa and I need help with my responses.
1.When do you plan to leave the US after your wedding?
2. How long do you plan to stay in the US?
3.Why are you getting Married in the US?
These are my honest responses,
1)After the wedding we want to established family wife and wife will need my support so I will looking to secure my workin papers to stay and help.
2)We plan to leave in 5yrs and settle elsewhere when my step son is done with high school.
3)It is the wish of her and family.Wedding are a union of two families and conducted in the woman's church .I already have some relatives in the Us and the engagement was in my country(which is the important part in my culture) does why it would easy and convenient.
Please any advice on my responses to these questions is appreciated.Thank u
