I also needed a copy of my birth certificate to apply for the marriage license so if you haven't looked at that yet it might be a good idea to sort out asap. I thought I didn't have my original certificate and had to wait for my mum to mail an additional copy to me to get my license...only to find it was in my paperwork packet after all... which was delightful!!

I think i definitely was over thinking it especially as I then remembered that the US contact details came later - thank you for clarifying anyway.

I just know how important the specific details are and don't want to make a mistake - hence my over analyzing!!

I have tried to search the forums and the guides to find an answer to this but cannot see one so I want to be sure!

Q30 asks for Daytime Phone number - is this for the US citizen and a US number or the Alien fiance and an international number?

From looking at the guide they have put a number in that appears to be in US format although the code is New York and address states Colorado (Yes I really did read it that closely!) So I am not sure if it is just a fictional US number or whether it is part of an international number? It is also nested in between information about the Alien and their details which also makes me question if it should be the alien??

Any help to confirm either way would be great - Thanks!

I am just starting out on my journey as K1 beneficiary and had a couple of questions - I am sure that they are covered here at some point but I couldn't see them so thought I would just ask (sorry if it is repetitive!)

1 - This may sound dumb - but it is ok to complete these forms by hand right? Or do they need to be completed electronically and printed? I just want to make sure we are doing it right.

2 - I am from England but my country can be described as England, Great Britain or United Kingdom - do you think it matters which one I put down? I want to be consistant and so think I will use 'England' where possible but wonder if anyone else has encountered this? and does it really matter?

3 - The 1-129F question 34a asks how you met - I assume this is just your initial meeting right? I read somewhere saying that they went very in detail - should this describe all our meetings or just the first one? And then if we use additional paper as noted in the example - again can this be done electronically (and signed with a pen) or does it need to be hand written?
